Yes they are same as the earlier P200 & P220's seats.

      +1.
This ad will be good only if its followed by another ad.It looks more like a trailer to me.Btw I'm in love with that background score where one phrase sounds like "aan de,aan de".

I'm yet to get a test ride on the new Apache 180cc which I'm looking forward to for such a long time.If I'm not going for that one then definitely no new bike for another 1 year or so.

Can't compare the 180UG4 with the new 220 but what I can tell is that its definitely stiffer than the earlier 220.

As a tourer I will always prefer a bike with stiffer setting than a softer setup.

Coming to the softer tyre query I couldn't make out whether they are softer or not.I tried to press the rubber and check it and it did felt soft but I can't say with 100% surety till the time I compare a P180UG-IV rubber with P220 rubber (both new).

STFU is derived from the actual wrestling term STF which is short for Stepover Toehold Facelock. Mr. Cena's obsession with his private parts has mutated the name.

Nice first hand ride report there MG..

Regarding the brakes part that you mentioned, can it be bcoz the bike is new..coz i have observed that when a bike is new, the brakes feel very good and sharp..but as time passes by they get rough..!!

                • Then what would be the reason/necessity for Bajaj to adopt those braided steel hoses for the disc brake fluid?

                  • Under higher pressure from the brake system , the rubber hoses expand and reduces the force on the calipers/pads there by reducing effectiveness of the brake. Since steel braided hose is more firm it does not let the above mentioned thing happen and gives better braking power.

Thats the only thing in the new P220 that I hate! Why does Bajaj have to do this weird thing!

Is it possible to use this new steel braided hose in our existing 200/220??
                            Will it improve the braking?

it shouldn't be a problem , but i don't know if the whole set up needs to be changed.

did anyone notice changes to the master cylinder/calliper (except the golden colour)?
