Yes they are same as the earlier P200 & P220's seats.Originally posted by Devilpulsarian View Postcan you please tell, whether the seats are the normal hardened typical pulsar seats...?
+1.Originally posted by Aparajith View PostSomehow this ad does not impress me so much. It just is not in the level of the Pulsar mania or 220Fi or 200's or Avenger ads!!! Kinda did not showcase the 220's prowess a lot!
This ad will be good only if its followed by another ad.It looks more like a trailer to me.Btw I'm in love with that background score where one phrase sounds like "aan de,aan de"
.
I'm yet to get a test ride on the new Apache 180cc which I'm looking forward to for such a long time.If I'm not going for that one then definitely no new bike for another 1 year or so.Originally posted by Aparajith View PostSo which is ur next bike going to be MG?
Can't compare the 180UG4 with the new 220 but what I can tell is that its definitely stiffer than the earlier 220.Originally posted by hell_glider View Postanyways, my query is, since the marketing blurbs all say that the suspension is stiffer, aiding in much better handling, can someone pls. clarify if it is harder than that of the P180UG4 ?? or can it at least be set to as soft as the P180UG4 ? because, i suspect, with many people wanting to go for it for "cruiser duty", a soft setup would be much appreciated.
As a tourer I will always prefer a bike with stiffer setting than a softer setup.
Coming to the softer tyre query I couldn't make out whether they are softer or not.I tried to press the rubber and check it and it did felt soft but I can't say with 100% surety till the time I compare a P180UG-IV rubber with P220 rubber (both new).Last edited by MG; 06-27-2009, 10:52 AM.

STFU is derived from the actual wrestling term STF which is short for Stepover Toehold Facelock. Mr. Cena's obsession with his private parts has mutated the name.Originally posted by dhairya View Post@MG_Biker: Thanks for a the RIde report!

Nice first hand ride report there MG..Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostThe biggest USP of this bike is the way it accelerates once past 60. I pity all the new owners during the run-in period. The bike is made to ride hard & all the new owners should give the bike its due credit.I also had a short spin on a stock R-15 in the evening and it felt underpowered.
Regarding the brakes part that you mentioned, can it be bcoz the bike is new..coz i have observed that when a bike is new, the brakes feel very good and sharp..but as time passes by they get rough..!!

Under higher pressure from the brake system , the rubber hoses expand and reduces the force on the calipers/pads there by reducing effectiveness of the brake. Since steel braided hose is more firm it does not let the above mentioned thing happen and gives better braking power.sigpicThe Moto Cafe - India's first bike theme cafe @ Chandni Chowk

Is it possible to use this new steel braided hose in our existing 200/220??Originally posted by niks_devil666 View PostUnder higher pressure from the brake system , the rubber hoses expand and reduces the force on the calipers/pads there by reducing effectiveness of the brake.
