41 'Fastest Indians' from Bangalore..!! Not bad at all.. considering that the final price at Bangalore is yet to be announced.
Anyway, you can expect it to be less by around 10K compared to the P220 DTS-Fi.

Congrats bro.. i'd rather suggest you to go for black..Originally posted by manohar_manu View PostBooked my 220 today..
took a test ride.
engine : very much refined compared to my P150.
Gears : very smooth. but finding neutral was difficult.
may be because, i'm never used to 1 down, 4 up method.
pickup : amazing in each and every gear.
I was able to travel at 20kmph even in 4th gear with pillon without jerks.
mileage : 35-40 as said by showroom guy..
price : still not confirmed.
Vibration : NIL
now, i am confused with color selection. booked RED. still confused whether to go for that or not.
if you take black there is an advantage..
you can patch up small/deep scratches with black radium sticker..
we cant do this for othr colors, cause they are bright and glossy..
i'm experienced with my fz..
it was red color, a single scratch on it, used to make me change the part..
But red is BRIGHT and GLOSSY!
And for black P220, i Like all black theme concept, lik, grab rails and handle bar are also black,
gold color breaks, suits much better to black p220..
For silver-red-blue, handle bar and grab rails are in silver color..Last edited by a.umesh; 07-05-2009, 11:59 AM.http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Community.aspx?cmm=91524710

Had my second TR of the P220 Dts-i today....
The speedo cable was disconnected, so could not ride enough to figure out the speedo error and the showroom guys were very strict about riding hard!
- Still say handling has improved quite a bit, taking corners is much more confidence inspiring than the 220 Fi
- Overall refinement level 'seem' to be higher.
- There have been some definite changes in fairing mounts, I expect this to vibe a lot lesser now.
- Post 7K rpm the rush of power is pretty damn good!
Bangalore will still have to wait a few more days before the 220 Dts-i can land in the hands of a owner!_________________________

thumbs up bro 4 ur ryt choice,, well as far as my observation on street is concerned ,every 2nd pulsar is in black colour,, pulsars really luk damn gud in BLACK colour,,,, then der is RED ,dis color surely brings out ur flamboyant personality,, true BLUE really adds elegance,, n finally SILVER dis colour 4 a mature ride qoutient,,,,--- as u said u hv a black one ,, i think u made d ryt choice, may also consider red,,,,even i hv a blue p150,, n bro it really sneaks out as a rare 1 among those black n red ones,,,, ( d abv post is my personal thinking,u ppl may add ur suggestions ) ;-)Originally posted by pp180 View PostBooked my 220 in blue color as i already own a black 180 and not planning to sell it..
Guys what are you views on blue color ..

Had a chat with the Service Manager.. and he revealed a few insights about the new P220 DTSi
- The Front Suspension / Handle bar (forgot to confirm which one) has been raised by a few mms.. this has resulted in a more relaxed riding stance with less strain on the wrists.
- There are about 15 new vibration damping elements in the fairing of the new P220 DTSi
Can anyone else confirm the same? If true, would like to make similar changes on my bike as well.

Just managed a small test ride on the new P220 DTSi..
- No Fairing Vibes
- Definitely Smoother
- The old fuel injected P220 DTS-Fi felt a little stressed post 7000 rpm, but the new P220 DTSi keeps revving freely past 7000 rpm
- Handling has definitely improved
Compared to the Fuel Injected P220, found the low end torque to be a bit low (would be hardly noticable by a new rider but can be felt by a P220 DTS-Fi owner) on the P220 DTSi, but the at higher RPM the P220 DTSi is defintely more at home.
