I called up the PBK gyz today during the daytime to finally exert my right to get a Test Ride..

I was declined saying it has still not been given clearance by RTO. God knows when i can finally get my hands on this beast.. its making me really impatient now.

Hope god pumps some good sense into Maharashta RTO guys and let us have them as soon as possible.

By the way.. enuf crying now..

How much does PBK ask as deposit when booking the bike? Nasik PBK asked for full cash earlier, but after today's bashing, they said 10k.. any other figures you ppl can give me?

Min. Booking amount in delhi is 10,000 .
I have booked my bike for 14,495 ..Why this figure ?
Bcoz on road Price 74,495 -14495 =60000 Balance .Just keep it simple .

Sale of Pulsar 220 at kiviraj has not yet started , checked it out on sunday. They have got some 10 to 15 Pulsars on stock and the expected price is around 80 on road as per the sales person .

Will call up those guys some time tomorrow, since they told that the deliveries will start sometime this week.

Anybody has any idea when RTO clearence is expected?

the RTO aproval should get this week, and incase if they dont...i promise am gona take back my entire amount and add some thousands and go for r15...meanwhile do your timepass by watching this old ad...

dude are u sure about this. i completed around 400km. i am riding it under 4k only coz of run in. can any body conform this. here pbk guys asked me not to rip it till run in is completed.

hii,,to a certain extend even i was taken aback by his comments , i even dotted the question again, there was a guy standing nxt 2 me, he 2 joined me on the same topic,,but the executive had his head firm and said no such run-in period is prescribed by Bajaj,, he was quite sure wot he was talking,,,, nothing more was then left 2 ask for,,,,anyways u jus follow the manual or have some expert advice over here,,,,,,,,

As far as i know about engines...... a run-in period is a must for a new engine. But in some cases (as i know about cars), the company puts the engine block on the mill to smoothen out the block for better power characteristics. If it is the same case here, then u can rip the bike right from the showroom to ur house . But if this has not been done, your engine is adversely affected and u might need to change engine oil much frequently. Please correct me if i am wrong about any of the above.

I think Bangy guys are really lucky. I paid only Rs.500. Rs.29k is more or less like a downpayment for a loan and require proper handling. I dont think its even legal to charge customer without any deliveries. Its more or less treated as black money.

I am still waiting in Maharashtra. Recently, there was a scam at Maharashtra RTO related to the RTO clearance of imported sports bikes. Officers at RTO were paid bribe to provide registration to the sports bikes which didn't have proper documents and were imported from the Taiwan. I guess, Bajaj doesn't know the rules of the game at Maharastra RTO.

I am Dead...i managed around 80K for the bike and a new Daijya helmet but @#$%* my institute poeple called and asked for fees and had to pay entire amount to them
