It think it Rs.8 overshot on Bangy prices the dealer quoted to me.

This stuff is still about 6k Cheaper in Delhi, Damn

guys.....i have a complaint or rather a problem wid my bike...wots wid this auto choke feature ... i mean every mornin i have to start the bike with the push of a button and wait for 2 mins till i can raise the accelerator...its mandatory....if u jus start the bike and raise the accelerator then the engine stops....if u sumhow manage to raise widout stopping and drive off...the engine will stop wen rpm comes low while riding.....

wen the bike starts my rpm would be around 1.5.....till it reaches 1,7 i have to wait everytime....what if i have an emergency?? damn this autochoke

Today called the PBK vasant vihar bajaj to inquire about the delivery of 220.They said that the delivery will start tomorrow ie 14th onwards and they are opening showroom on tuesday specially for this otherwise it is their Off.
Any how will get my bike on 19th Sunday.

I will also be getting my Bike on 19th from Bagga Link in Okhla. What time will you be there. Maybe we can meet and plan some rides together for a run-in and thereafter.

Sorry guys, since this is the fastest Indian, I am not sure if any other bike can keep up (even in its run-in) so asking only 220 DTSI guys.

Dude, just spoke to my friend in Probiking, he told that this "Auto choke" feature is still not successful in bajaj bikes as they are still facing problems in XCD cos of that. And it can't be dis-engaged as it's directly connected to CDI unit!! U have to go thru this pain man!!!! Finally, he gave ne a small helping hand to check the "Co" level of ur bike that can be done in probiking, which might help u a bit!!

The auto choke is just a solinoid valve. I think the choke valve mixture is too lean and has to be set.

guys...i cudnt hold out any longer so widout puja i went out on a 50km ride.......wots wid that gearbox dudes?? its so smooth that i i press any harder i fear it would break off....its smoother than my old fz...the mirrors vibrate a bit...i din ride an FI before so i don't know if an improvement is made....the handling...OMG...so awesome...i am like a knife cutting through heavy traffic...the bike is solid...engine sound is smooth n sexy...my fz was quiet and i din like that....got tempted n wen i was in 5th gear 45kmph...i raised n within 3 seconds i touched 99kmph...then quickly came back to 45...
only one word i can say guys...FRICkIN AWeSOmE....sry thats two words

guys wid new 220....wen u r using the brakes...dont jus press the lever n keep like that...it will smoothen off the pads....both front n rear....keep presseing n depressing in quick succession.....so that unequal grooves can be formed and hence braking will be good later...i did the mistake of keeping pressed on and my fz braking was shit compared to others...

also today the autochoke took only 1 min...i cud raise the accelerator in 1 min...and after my 50km ride wen i stopped at my home the rpm was nearly at 2...
