got my red 220 on the 12'th. paid 75500 for it in lucknow.
sold off my p 180 dtsi v1
sad to see it go.
initial impression was mixed one.
low end grunt and smootheness awesome but top end not much better than my old 180.(atleast felt like it, maybe it was the hype in the mags which led to disappointment?)
initially got 45 kpl during run in.
after service and ripping it getting 38-40. not bad.
top speed yet 124 kph on speedo.
roll on acc. seems more sluggish than my 180.(feels like it ,no comparison)
what do other 220 owners feel
ridden it 800 km till nowpulsar 180 classic - 2001-2004
pulsar 180 dtsi v1 - 2004-2009
pulsar 220 dtsi - 2009-

That was cruel Mr.Aryan.. towards men_in_jean. At least move the post to an appropriate thread.. the ad was awesome.. And a new ad does belong to the news thread.. the old 1 did.. there was lots of discussion about the old "The Fastest Indian" ad.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Dude, complete the run in , then start ripping, it has only been 800 kms. personally IMO,it is still the best pulsar over all, roll on is slower than the DTSfi but not the 180.HYPERTHRUST CLEARED AND COUNTING

Relax the bike is still a baby, its still growing. The engine will take some time to set in. During that period you have to ensure that you don't stress out the engine too much.
Its only post 10K that the engine opens up its true potential.
