The Decal on the Fairing is NOT 'F'

I remember the same kinda argument that used to happen when the KarizmaR launch was happening, with everyone coming up with new words for the 'R'

Also remember the posts regarding whether the ZmaR had 7 gears lol [ Lotsa people mistook the 'P' in the 'Premier Sport' in the cowling for '7' ]

But well, unlike HH they didn't just add an 'F' [ Whatever it is ] .

Well i can't wait for the most fuel efficient bike they're about to launch in July !

n in road all pulsar looks same....... I was looking at P200, later realized it is P180 ........ u just can't tell the difference until its UGI or UGII for P150 & P180.......
I think we will have to wait for detailed road test by BIKE, OVERDRIVE or AUTOCAR to ratify the statements of Zigwheels. But nevertheless its a great work by Zigwheels staff and we should appreciate their enthusiasm in this regard...

                • I also noticed a subtle, little change that Bajaj has made on the 'self check'. The self check is faster as compared to the other Pulsars. It is something which I always found lacking in the digital instrumentations of the new generation of Pulsars till date, but now it is also being taken care of. The self check is not as fast as, say, an R1, but it is definitely a step ahead.

Also, the brake calipers are golden in color which adds character to the overall attractiveness of this new P220. The starter is also made better; the sound of the starter is good. It's atleast better than the current generation of Pulsars. And man, that UCAL 32 carb is huge.
                  :)

                  • Now things seem to be looking up. One bike crosses the 20bhp mark. Great. Thanks for sharing the launch Sunny and Aryan.

One interesting bit though...a higher top speed and better acceleration seems to have made a hero out of the poor obsolescent carburetor. Till a few days ago, Fuel Injection was the panacea of all anemic engines. It was THE thing to have in your bike. If a new bike didn't have a carb (and a monoshock and a rear disc and clipons and projector lamps and....) it was fit just for the Flintstone family. But for once, retro seems to be getting the kudos.

And the best example of that is Honda CBF Stunner FI

Is this a new industry de facto? .. everyone is going for that RTR 180, Stunner FI and now P220 which has all black treatment

                        • @Techno: There was ABSOLUTELY no word about the P200. I wonder if the product would now be shelved off. I see this 'new' P220 as an logical upgrade to the P200 than anything else.

                          @OF sir: True, SO true.

                              • out of curiosity, is it possible to lose the fairing. i really think it doesn't gell with the rest of the design philosophy. the 200 looked yummy. so can the fairing be dispensed with still retaining the headight setup ??
There once was a woman who was quite begat.
She had three babies named Nat, Pat, and Tat.
She said it was fun in the breeding,
But found it was hell in the feeding
When she saw there was no tit for Tat.
