Archi. Sell your 'Yember' Yaar 15. I think pollution levels will be met with this 'Pee' 220.

Familiar feelings. It happens when a newer, better bike is launched.

Waiting for more updates from Aryan/Sunny.

      • Fast ,so follow the barter system!

220 launch will be so much exciting coz this will be the fastest bike in india not considering the super bikes..Between is there any schemes to exchange my classic 180?

        • How I wish, similar price cuts on avenger or else put this new 220 carb engine on avenger.
Avenger at 60K could be a good buy.

Other than cost benefits, there is nothing much head turner in new p220 (personal opinion) though it has some good changes.

@bajaj should now work to have following things
          1. Bigger tanks
          2. Wide tyres
          3. If possible more CC/bhp/Nm/Ps

SBKs look big, and youth looks at buying something that looks similar to SBKs, one reason for fz16 success the big look and wide tyre factor. Remember when Pulsar was launched it has the biggest petrol tank (18L) at that time, which made is look bigger, bolder then other 100cc bikes.

Ninjz 250cc, next 3 months, sounds sweet. Somewhere i feel the 220 dtsi at 70K is launched so that they can create a space under 1L for 250cc bike....just my wild guess.

              P220 DTS-Fi
              0-60 - 4.76s
              0-100 - 12.92s
              0-120 - 24.62s

              P220 DTS-i
              0-60 - 3.8s
              0-100 - 11.3s
              0-120 - 27.1s

The 5th gear is really tall for it to reach higher top speed.

I guess so. Its understandble for a 220Fi owner though.

                No new updates from Aryan/Sunny?

I think its best to wait for this bike to hit the roads and then try it out. Infact trying it out in on Roller Bench of the ProBiking would give a more accurate figure for 0-60 and topspeed!

Coz on the roller bench I remember my bike doing a 0-60 in about 4.2-3 secs on roller bench when it was new!

                  • impressive figures... So being a carb there would be many modifiers out there grinning at these figures and planning to depreciate those numbers

                    • viny, its 2003 classic 180, i think that was the last versions of classics, got K&n filter too.. will post the pics soon or i'll send it to ya mail or something..reached a top whack of 115 with it..still in good condition..2009 pulsar 220 is a steal i think considering the power.

U r rgt abt that silver_falcon. I m thinkin the same now as when the Ninja will be launched than what will i do. So i think its better to keep the current bike until a major upgrade is there in the market. Thanks for the kind words

I agree that we would remain customers fro PBK outlets but atleast they should have come up with a new ECU mapping for 220 which would give us something to cheer about too!
