I'm still glad that they haven't gone hardcore into making bikes with super tiny power band which makes you wring the hell out of the bike for it to MOVE. They are tending a little towards track oriented set up, but I guess it wont be much.Originally posted by pranay View PostLooks like Bajaj is going the track-oriented way.
* Stiffer suspension front and back.
* Front rake revised.
* Larger front fork.
* Grippier rubber.
* Narrower power/torque band.
* Roll on figures lesser.
..which is why I said in the other thread that current P200 still retain their identity.
P200 still is the best looking bike overall, IMHO.
Other than loosing out on Resale value theres not much to loose with existing P200 owners. If you really love what you ride, you wouldn't be bothering about resale value.
Thanks to Bajaj making so many similar bikes, even parts for the 200 wont be a problem for a long time.

This one has a 'newer' 5 speed transmission. It has an all new clutch.Originally posted by veryhiphop View Post5 Speed transmission

Yes, parts will never be a problem, I guess. Bajaj and resale don't go hand in hand anyways actually.Originally posted by silver_falcon_46 View PostI'm still glad that they haven't gone hardcore into making bikes with super tiny power band which makes you wring the hell out of the bike for it to MOVE. Sirji thoda sa mistake lag raha hai.I guess that should read DTS-i & not DTS-SiOriginally posted by Sunny View Post- Improved DTS-Si engine for faster combustion and better efficiency.
Update from my side
The new P220 will be available in non Probiking showroom.Which means it will be available everywhere in India. So a guy from Kalyan Maharastra don't need to go to Mumbai(70odd kms) to buy the new 220.Last edited by MG; 06-23-2009, 02:52 PM.
