Err.. its actually illegal to ride with the race kit on a public road.
The race kit is meant to be ridden on a closed circuit, read that as the Chennai or the Coimbatore race tracks only.

But would that actually stop guys from riding it on the streets..??


The P220 DTSi remains the Fastest Indian Road Legal Production Bike.

Even if I had the money and access to these tracks I dont think I would still be able to achieve 150 on a track. Some things are best left for the racers and I can do with my share on the good highways that I have inspected myself and found suitable enough to go fast

Well as sumit n johnjojo said,, i think jus 4 a additional speed of 15kmph (as r15's top spd is 135kmph - racing kit spd 150kmph) , spending 1.6L will surely not go down 2 well wid much of d indians,, instead buy two 220's and njoy d power of 440 cc (220+220) engine,, hehe just kidding ,but in d end it all depends upon ppl's thinking n liking

Hey am good ... as u know, was never a fan of the pulsars, but this one got me. Didnt want a zma again & R-15's cost is a bit too steep compared to wat i get. I wanted a good touring bike & this is the only one that could be a worthy zma replacement. Its a real bang for the buck & Ill surely get the best outta it Will be back with pics once i get my ride....Cheers Vivek.

I think, the new ad is not horrible but it sure does not put P220 in lime light. The bike is hardly shown for a sec in the ad and they way the "Hero" sits on bike and rips the throttle he rather should have been on a LIVE OFF THE EDGE commercial

I booked a 220 yest...OTR Pune is 78105. Probiking ppl said that the delivery will be approximately done by end of this month. Reason for the delay being that the bikes still not got TC passing from Mumbai RTO.
