the Bimota here reminds me of Benelli Tornado ( esp indicators ) . Older Bimotas like YB11 , YB9 , SB8R , SB6R looked so much better , so much sexier .
Now they did to Bimota what Chris Bangle did to BMW cars : ruin their looks ( although the Bimota isnt that bad as BMW's new feminised looks )Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on.Comment

I guess the problem with bimota looks is that it does not look refined at any end. Even the raw looks (like in brutale) can still look a master piece. On the contrary, Honda CBR600RR looks too much commercial and safe. I appreciate bimota's bold design but feel disgusted by the lack of refinement in there.

the Bimota aint so hot, but the CBR looks quite different from earlier versions. Its eyes looks more "evil".

@reactor : I was speaking of newer BMW's which have funny over-curvy headlights . Somehow it doens't looks like a sober , stately car anymore from the angles in which headlights are clearly visible . Ditto for Merc - I never liked the departure to oval headlights .Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on.Comment

@ricci u might be right when u say there had been a significant departure from the traditional trend of oval lights in merc and bmw asevdient in this bike. But this is probably where the product design or automobile design is heading to, "mean looks"...take an example from Honda City, I am talking about the overall aggression in the form from the previous more sober ones. Similar is Honda Accord. more to follow in the league are : the whole breed of naked, raw bikes like Suzuki B-King or Yamaha's Bull Dog or Dodge Tomahawk, the whole breed which has evolved recently.
I guess this is reflected in the general attitude of people, people actually getting more exposed to aggression and sex in general...look at the violance around,..war...world has never been like this all these years...so this is the future...the aggresssion. Perhaps BMW and Merc have been really very choosy and had been able to contain themselves by confining themselves to only headlights and not overdo it.

@Reactor : different folks , different strokes . Our tastes may vary . I didn;t like oval eyes Merc , others love it .
However even with curves there's a distinct appeal . Curves can be muscular ( like Porsche 911 ) or cute ( like Beetle ) . I do like curves , some curves , but not all curves . I dislike cars and bikes that look cute ( Beetle and Ka ). Same with edges , not all edges are nice .
But with the Bangle BMW's , styling has gone from Armani clad James Bond/Pierce Brosnan to pink haired Take That . I like the former , puke at the latter .Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on.Comment
