n addition to the ultra-modern styling, MCN mentions a variable-cylinder engine (cylinder deactivation), which will increase the fuel economy and lower harmful emissions.

Much needed upgrade for this sports tourer.

    The cylinder deactivaton is interesting.

Would it mean 900cc if you are cruising and 1200cc if you're blasting!!

It better have a good low end torque, because if cylinders get deactivated, the low end torque would be suffering a lot ...

Anyways, nice feature and it looks so India-suitable (!). However, it fades in looks, compared to VFR 800 ...

@Sunny....................Aint its time for selling the Blackbird and go for something more focussed

Thanx By the way for sharing such a great piece of news.

Hayabusa finally has sumthin to watch out.

The Bike is short and looks like a MotoGp design gone wild, but I feel that it will have divine handling like the Fireblade 1000cc.The engine is V4 with 1200cc means the RCV1000cc engine has lost its high race-rev nature to become street legal and has aquired added 200cc.Anyway great going

I'm doubting its a Honda because it seems Shaft driven and the overall looks. It looks more like a new BMW motorcycle.

I think vfr is the most practicle bike for indian market right now.
Technologically this thing is awesome, although looks kinda blunt from the front end.

@nitro: Thanks for the pics man. The rear is very honda-ish, tapering towards the end and extremely slim (a-la-blade).
However, when viewed dead-on, it does look like a Beemer. I won't be complaining much though, if the 200BHP output is revealed to be true

                              Cheers !
