When Hero Honda is selling 4 bikes with the same engine (CD 100, Dawn, Passion, Spendor), no one says anything as they are market leaders! When LML is trying somthing same, everyone critisises it because it is a small player?
If LML is foolish in launching 2 bikes with 150cc, then what is Hero Honda?
Even Bajaj has 2 bikes in 125 cc capacity...

the graptor is not a blockbuster (like pulsar) by any means. that's why people are saying that beamer might be just a spiced up version of graptor to push up dissappointing sales. Graptor has sold less units than expected by LML( source : ET)
I personally think that it is a motoscooter of some sort since the ad line says "why bike when you can beamer"Comment

Da LML Beamer is a 150cc air cooled motorbike (not scooter) which is gonna compete wit da HONDA UNICORN & PULSAR 150 & other 150cc Bikes.

prateek : I like the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it " The engine was running fine, people loved it,so they didnt feel the need to modernise. now HH is paying the price for it. other manufacturers are muscling in on their turf.
But still the bottom line is : HH put the same engine in all the bikes and the people love it. End of story.Comment
