You are right as per the owner's manual but I'm following the Duke's method which requires an early oil change. Also, if you refer to the Motoman's method, he suggests that the oil change has to be done as early as at 20 milesOriginally posted by anil14975 View Postisn't the first service at 1000kms and the first break in at 800 kms?

Purchase a GPS navigator. Bangalore roads are tough anyways even for those who remember roads well.Originally posted by gorbi View PostI'm getting delivery tomorrow itself...... I called up and confirmed it. I'll take delivery before 12noon tomorrow... But the problem is I don't know the roads in B'lore.. Thats whats worrying me...
So far as I am concerned, I am the most pathetic person that anyone can come across so far as remembering roads of any city is concerned.
I am waiting for GPS navigators to be launched in India at reasonable prices. Currently they are too expensive (Maymyindia and SatGuide).

They said they will start delivering the bikes in 2nd week of JanOriginally posted by Conrad View PostHave the deliveries for the 3rd lot started in Pune? I can't get their line. Ashutosh, any idea? Consider buying Knee protectors as well. They are very useful. You can consider buying Textile jackets and not the leather ones (Alpinestar or DSG) so that they wont fry you in the heat and will be water resistant.Originally posted by killers_instinct View PostGuys..
Need your advice on Protective Gear... I checked some at the Orion outlet in Koramangala, Bangalore.
They have Alpinestar Leather Jackets worth 10k and Planet DSG mesh Jackets around 6.5k..
Although the Leather jackets looked gr8... but I am worried
if they would suit Bangalore weather, especially afternoons.
Another thing... is it better to buy the Alpinstar here or ask my friend to bring it from the US.

Whatever you go for, make sure it has CE approved protectors on shoulders, elbow&back. Material&fit are personal choice. DSG/Cramster both have them.

Well.. the leather jackets or the DSG ones both will fry you during the day.Originally posted by killers_instinct View PostGuys..

However the DSG ones also have protection ,so they save you in a crash.
Its always better to have gear that would save you in a crash.
IF you are getting stuff from the US then i'd suggest you get good ones that have protection.
@bluevolt: sure thing mate.
