@srinathrao - i hope you are right and i am wrong, but generally with HH, the case has not been so.
@gautambagchi - that sloper engine is the largest selling engine in the world, virtually unchanged for the last 50 yrs, testament to its ability!

My 2 cents....
I somehow got a weird feeling that HH is going to plonk the same old 223cc mill with FI and the new full fairing and all new stickers. I really hope I am wrong.
Again, on the positive side its gonna be a 250cc at best which I feel a bit unlikely but hoping for the best.A girlfriend as a pillion at 400 kmph... What Girl??

Good product is what makes people admire Hero Honda and not their RnD, why RnD is required when Honda is there ? As far as 50 years old technology or 100 years technology, it doesn't really matter as far as product meets customer's expectations.Originally posted by gautambagchi View Posti don't know why people admire HH so, they don't do any original R&D and use old outdated hand me down tech. from honda. the sloper engine design in most HH bikes is close to 50 yrs old. they just change the stickers and serve old wine in new bottles. no offense just my opinion
FYI, Twin Spark, Swirl ignition etc are all 80+ year old technology but hyped up as new technology as a result of 'great' RnD !!

They should have already coz they are not the fastest.. because after 3 days Yamaha had launched the racing kits for R15...Originally posted by Blueangel180 View PostBy some teeny-weeny chance,if the new zma manages to make some 22-odd bhp and has good top end and acceleration figures, will bajaj stop calling the p220 "the fastest indian"?

I had a nightmare a few nights ago.
That I had purchased a new 200 + cc bike of Indian brand and on the next day itself HH lauchned a new ZMA with 149 cc FI LC 4V 19PS CBU imported engine with six gears at Rs. 1+ lakh. Holly shift! I missed the Bus.
Later, was relieve to know that it was a nightmare only.
