A lot of people have already gotten their rims painted white and orange and what not. Good that the company is taking feedback closely and coming out with products keeping all that in mind. The FZ family is a beautiful bunch together, and they are ensuring that the interest of the buyers does not fizzle out, even if it is a cosmetic job.

@vinoob - that rear disc of the FZ is more show than functional. It will give such tremendous braking power, that there will be no sense of progressive fell during braking.
Basically, the rider will end up locking the rear wheel during hard braking, making it more risky than an improvement in braking.
the wide contact patch of the rear, and the performance of the FZ, does not need a bigger brake at the rear. if you are concerned about braking performance, fit the performance kit disc brake on the front wheel that yamaha offers.

Yeah it started withOriginally posted by srini View Post^^^+1000 to that
It's not a VFM buy in any sense...but there's a price to pay for exclusivity
- around 15% premium on other bikes for FZ (off course with all new goodies)
- reached to around 20% for FZ-S (without any addition at all except exclusivity over already exclusive FZ)
- reached to about 25% for Fazer(off course with super cool fairing and a new spirit in the exclusive body)
- reached to a new high of about 40% if this 94k price is correct one (ohh .. that's the most exclusive white-blue color combo with new fiber and limited edition emblem)
So they are trying to cash in "the exclusivity" like anything, then why we crib about HH cashing their brand name, loyalty and trust out and giving best limited edition products in the past
. So in all, I think everyone of them are doing their business and cashing each and every opportunity of more profits over others. If HH sees that they can sell more and more by changing colors and Yamaha sees a market of exclusive bikes @ premium -- they'll try to tap it. And they had seen this in past - HH has great records of sales for years now and Yamaha has, I guess, seen this in their, may be an experimental, product FZ-S getting good demands even at a premium over FZ.
