  • INDIA: HH introduces new paint-jobs for Hunk & Splendor.

Festive seasons are considered an auspicious time for vehicle purchases and Hero Honda knows the importance of the festive season. After the recent launch of the new Karizma ZMR they have announced two new variants of their existing models - the Hunk and the Splendor+ which by the way has sold over one crore unit!

The Hunk that is targeted at the youngsters with its muscular looks now in its new avatar features special Macho Ebony Grey colour treatment which is carried over to the rear grab handles, side cover, foot rest & handle bar, and has body-coloured rear view mirrors along with contemporary stickering on the fuel tank and the raging bull insignia on the tank shrouds it now also features redgold colour treatment for Splendor+ emblem on side cover and Hero Honda logo on fuel tank, visor and console. The Special Edition Splendor+My Comments: Not even the smallest possible change like gearing, weight, tuning, etc. seems to be made. Don't expect performance, but mileage tweaks atleast?

Yet Guys, it is my privilege to announce that Hero Honda continues the proud tradition by new paint-jobs to Hunk & Splendor.

imo the splendor was one of the very few good looking 100cc around, though dated but still it looked very decent with not a line out of proportion.

HH needs to start doing something, but then, as long as they are ruling the sales charts and growing year after year, they really dont need to..

My offerings to the gods of speed -

        - KTM Duke 200
        - Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

Seriously, the Hero Honda sales pitch guy must himself have ROFLed massively when we was directed to write the above !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

With no offence meant to the thread starter, I think HH launching its bikes with new paint schemes is no longer NEWS..
by the time news is read & prospective buyer goes to the showroom, HH would have launched another colour scheme..

Frankly, I guess HH have a very large & strong Paintshop/ Photoshop inhouse team, & they must be really well paid, as they come up with very frequent mind boggling visual upgrades..

                My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
