Have heard a lot about it before, but i dont know govt. will allow it. Since now they have already made it clear that F1 is not considered as sports (at least in India )
..
Like to laugh aloud, acknowledging the mind of these politicians.. This is one hilarious kindaa thing in itself..
...
Lets Hope FIA clear the minds of these corrupted politicians and allow for these F1 track sooner than later..

Very uninspiring layout...with all the natural terrain at our disposal this is the best we could come up with? Looks like a typical Tilke design. Boring...
Go find a few hills and give the track some character like Spa! What is up with flat boring desert tracks? Nobody wants to be in Delhi to watch a race! How about Goa / Mangalore / Shimla / Aravallis. Tired of metros grabbing all the headlines and making a monkey's arse of the whole thing.Kriss : 15.06.1981 - 11.10.2009

I beg to differ with the word boring, atleast they are making something (Beggers can't be Chooser), and all tracks can't have character, even the new track which has come up in Abu Dhabi, doesn't have the hills and slops of SPA, but it still seems a great track. And the track is in delhi is because it has the infrastructure and its the capital, i know people will say ' ohh so its a capital and should get it, bullshit', but that the way the dice rolls.Originally posted by gsferrari View PostVery uninspiring layout...with all the natural terrain at our disposal this is the best we could come up with? Can't wait for it to finish and be open to the public for track days, frankly i am more exicted about the track days than the races.

I beg to differ...we aren't beggars and we definitely have a reason to choose an exciting track which can result in exciting races over a procession! Tilke tracks are all processions...except maybe Turkey.Originally posted by Raoul Black View PostI beg to differ with the word boring, atleast they are making something (Beggers can't be Chooser), and all tracks can't have character, even the new track which has come up in Abu Dhabi, doesn't have the hills and slops of SPA, but it still seems a great track. Abu Dhabi was the most boring race ever...made exciting only because of Button's late charge on the ailing red Bull of webber.
I don't think they'll open this track to the public...we'll start spitting all over the place and making a mess in general.
First of all - is this thing getting built? Haven't seen anything in the news...Kriss : 15.06.1981 - 11.10.2009
