    this is another move by those lazy shit headed bureaucrats..
    a. improve public transport
    b. enforce people to follow lanes
    c. educate people on the right hand driving rules

        More than increasing number of vehicle registrations, complete lack of road etiquette is the biggest problem Indian roads are facing. Doesn't matter what city it is. Force peopel to drive decently and watch the bottleneck loosen up.
        With the lack of effective public transport , if implemented , it would only worsen the situation here.

        We need really concrete steps like congestion charges, higher parking rates etc to discourage car users from using it unnecessarily. In parallel, public transport needs to be drastically upgraded so that people might consider it a viable option.
        God knows what will happen when our roads are going to be infested with Nano's
        exactly , same way people buy houses in the names of family members so that they pay less taxes and stay away from IT dept.
