    Somewhere read that this tiny 125cc machine of Mahndra's will hammer out 53 bhp with a staggering top speed of 245 km/h...!! Dont know how much truth does it weight but if its still not the same we can surely expect Mahindra to realease something wild like that .

          Hope it wouldnt be a disappointment (like the R15). Dont think Mahindra would make that bike available to us.

          In the meanwhile check this website out, http://www.longshuomoto.it/

            Some more info here: M&M to launch motorcycle this year; looks to add more capacity- Two-wheelers-Auto-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times

            Guys, there are some more indications about the sportbike:-->

            "We will be present across all segments of scooters and motorcycles as we want to become a significant player in the two-wheeler market. The new motorcycle will be one of the many products we will launch," he said.

            Mathur said the motorcycle has been developed in-house by the group and not much input has been used from the stable of Kinetic, the two-wheeler assets of which were acquired by M&M in 2008.
            Quite strange to hear, that the bike is developed in house, with hardly any assistance from Kinetic.
            I know 2 years is a long time but still, where could they have got the mill from? Is it an entirely new mill?

              its rpm meter shows only 11k rpm .do u think its enough for 54bhp.in motogp they have 20k rpm at least.by the in indian norms fresh two strokes are end of production how could be it possible to launch a two stroke engine.even stock aprilia 125 cant produce more than 32 bhp.

                Dude, the engine in the showcased bike and Aprillia RS 125 are both the same, sourced from Rotax engines. And here you are comparing a Fully blown Bike (showcased by Mahindra) to a stock Aprillia RS 125. That doesnt make sense; isnt it ? The Aprillia produces 32bhp (only??) because its a road going model which is restricted by the emissions that have to be met. I hope i have cleared your confusion.

                  @ M&M :-

                  * A 125cc packed with good mileage and looks for posers and mileage kya hei boss public !

                  * A 250+cc track oriented bike for xbhpians ;-)

                  * After the acquisition of engines engineering,M&M should always go "big",so please forget 150,160,180,200,220 segments :-)
