Do we have the infrastructure required to handle such bikes. Those who do have fast bikes use them as weekend bikes or take them out in the nights when theres no traffic, still then one is scared coz u never know where will the next Cat/Dog/Cow/Buffalo/Drunkard will come from????We are in a country where the marketing concept of selling fuel is "Pure for Sure" and "Pure bhi,Poora bhi" rather than the environment concern as it is in other countries. We may have toughest emission norms but how many of us take a PUC more out of the concern for the environment rather than paying fine to a cop????Are we ready for an SBK?
    Setting off speedguns since 1984....

        @ turbocharged:
the people like us are ready since a long time back.
now its the cental pwd and the state pwd's are the one's to be ready.preparing good roads is now their concern.
they too much money from us every year and they utilise this money for other purposes.not for building or maintaining the roads.
Regarding the cats, dogs, buffallo's that cross the roads,we are helpless, unless we fence our roads.
Regarding pedestrains, from my experience, speed is safe.
coz after seeing a speeding bike, people hesitate to cross the road.its too risky.
they know if hit, they will die on the spot.it will take too much time for the insurance company to pay their family some compensation
As in the case of a bike at 40 km per hour, they know the maximum that can happen is a fracture or a few bruises.
payment and settlement on the spot in majority of the cases.

Yes riding a SBK at night is the safest method to enjoy the ride without much fear in mind.
        ride safe 4 ur family

            Guys r we ready 4 sbks ?
i personaly belive we r not, its we ppl who have to change 1st if we want to ride sbks here in India the ppl aroud us have to change, let me give an example its happend to me many-a-times im behind a rickshaw n he suddenly takes a Uturn without any hint once i was overtaking a rick he decided to take a U turn n i had to use disc brakes in sand n i feel. these rickshawalas r not at al concerned abt any1 on the road they feel that they r in Bihar (no hard feelings guys) but its a fact they get into no entry

Here in Mumbai the Govt. is doing a good thing by putting these cement dividers which r tall so that no1 can cross the road but these bahaiyas remove 1 or 2 of these so that they can cross the road whn these dividers r in place the driver/rider is assured the no1 wil cross but apna bhiharis are an exception they even climb these dividers and jump on the other side

The BEST public transport is another issue in Mumbai so 1st a lot of things need to change if we want a reduction in the duty

Guys click on the link n make some money i\'m not saying that u\'ll be a corepati but atleast payoff ur petrol bills :

Ok, I didn't remember this topic so I just vented out in the some post elsewhere.

What I'm asking ya'll is say the Govt does remove the Import Duties, wtf are you gonna do with it? live a poser life? We can expect no good roads till 2020 (Refer www.nic.in for Project 2020).
If ya need to ride, we need proper tracks in India. Expecting the roads to improve is like living a lie. But fvck it man. Its never gonna improve in our lifetime. Better migrate to some other country. I know I am gonna.
