        What is the difference between the XL 883R Roadster and XL 883L Sportster, other than the seat? and does it justify the the extra Rs50,000?

          Quite good differences; the powder coated engine, seats, the stay axle difference, the handle bars, last but not the least the roadster weighs less compared to the XL; guess these can be justified by HD & the remaining by the govt.

                Got a call from HD, they are organising an event for test-rides at Kala Goda, Mumbai. Asked me would I want to join, I said "Hell yeah!"
                Its on 8-9th May.

                        Guys, the launch/test-rides at Kala Ghoda were amazing. My first time riding a Harley, and I'm already SOLD!!

                        Great service and very helpful sales guys. But the thing you go there to see are the bikes, and they didn't disappoint.

                        And I'm quite sure that they will allow test-rides to potential customers once the showroom (at Bandra) becomes operational in a few weeks.

                        Thats the HD way.


                        The 883R Roadster in the Pic. Starts at around Rs. 7 lakh.

                        My favorite was the XL1200 Nightster (in profile pic), and that would retail for around Rs. 10 lakh
                        4 wheels move the body, but 2 wheels move the soul!!
