Life really has no value in India and "health and safety" is a joke.
A majority of cars sold back here are still not quipped with airbags or ABS.. you asked something about the health and safety....

Bikes are still being used for those purpose, atleast now a manufacturer is making it a bit easier by designing a product that can withstand it!

    OT:
I know of a similar complain when ICICI Bank launched ATMs to back the Kissan loan cards (biometric) in rural areas of India, someone cribbed then that here the farmers are commiting suicide, and ICICI is spending so much money on a stupid innovation - A biometric ATM.
Well, the product did do good for that region, it sold well, got a good response, farmers benefitted from it and so did all...

The term 'overloading' will come into action only when the payload tips the scales over 200kg.

This thing will make the life a bit easier and safer for thousands of people across the country who earn their livelihood by this medium of transportation.

I hope you still remember that you are talking about a country where wearing a helmet is still not a law.
No one is telling them what to do, all TVS is doing is trying to make it safer with what they are already doing.

Are you saying you have never seen loaded bikes and modded juggad bikes for such stuff?

I still fail to understand the "safer" part of this whole thing by TVS. Maybe its just me, may be I shouldn't think about it that way. Let's talk about bollywood then.

Proper attachment to trut wieghts, Larger wheelbase, Payload capacity upped upto 200KGs... Compare that with a a CD100 with local weilding juggad attachment, same wheelbase (this doesnt matter here!), and the payload capacity almost 60% of it but yet trutting the same amount of luggage?

I dont discuss Bollywood, since I broke up with Piggy Chops!

But one question still remains...Is it legal to load a two wheeler with goods as per Motor Vehicles Act ?

Well, I'm thinking only from the legal perspective...
