Guys,
An important update for outstation visitors. I sent a mail to Auto Expo Authorities about the tickets and here is an extract from the reply I received:
It means you should check the official site after 12 December for any update to show up.Kindly note there is no preregistration procedure this year. You may kindly purchase the tickets online, and check the website for the online tickets after 12th December 2011.---

I live in Chhattisgarh and have been to every Auto Expo since 2004. I like that place man.
Ginger hotel will be a good option.Originally posted by Shubz View PostI am on! Just done with the flight bookings. Now my Delhi friends could suggest a decent place to stay which would be close to the venue?

There are many hotels in Karol Bagh and Paharganj area, from budget hotels to expensive ones. And these areas are closer to the venue and well connected by metro...Originally posted by Shubz View PostI am on! Just done with the flight bookings. Budget is not an issue. Got to be a good one. Preferably with a pick up and drop facility (from and to the airport.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostWhat is your budget?
Sounds like a good option. Will check them out.Originally posted by jasmeetsinghchawla View PostI live in Chhattisgarh and have been to every Auto Expo since 2004. I like that place man.

Paharganj - I have been to that place years ago. Narrow lanes, shady places etc. I was once conned into taking up a shady room and got a knock on the door with a woman asking if I needed any serviceOriginally posted by sunilg View PostThere are many hotels in Karol Bagh and Paharganj area, from budget hotels to expensive ones. - Checked out the next morning. Got good places there? Want to be sure about where I am going before taking off from Blr!

I was suggesting that because I was planning to go as well and we could share a room in one of the hotels on Barakhamba road from where we can simply catch the metro and go to the Pragati Maidan station. PM me for the rates - I can give you a choice of hotels online and we can decide.Originally posted by Shubz View PostBudget is not an issue. Got to be a good one. But it depends when are you going. I am definitely not going on the weekend because of the mad rush. I am planning to take off on 9th December, so I intend to land in Delhi on Sunday evening, stay a night at the hotel, see the show in premium hours on Monday when the crowd is thin and leave around four-ish for the airport.
