Overdrive reported that Yamaha will display 2-3 new motorcycles. So wait for 250cc variant is over or far from over?

Two commuter bikes and one tourer maybe?
I will be regretting my recent purchase if they come out with a fully faired 250cc Fazer anywhere close to 2lacs
But i am still skeptical of Yamaha getting a 250cc so early. Final quarter 2012 maybe.
            Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

The specs of the international model of the 250cc fazer are very disappointing...
              22ps @ 7500 rpm
              SOHC engine
              20.5NM @ 6.5k rpm
              5 speed transmission...
with these specs, it wont sell if its more than 1 lac ex-show... and ofcourse very outdated styling...
p220/duke would seem to be a far better option...

If Hero manages to get Honda's CB300R in India at a sensible price between 1 - 1.5 Lacs on road. It could be a smash hit. It will give a chance for those who have already owned normal 150+cc bikes to upgrade to a more powerful bike & who can't upgrade to Honda CBR 250R & Ninja 250R due to financial limitations.

Yamaha India has always put out india-centric bikes instead of going for the high displacement.sz-x,fz,r15 etc. These guys seem to play it safe before trying out anything too radical.

CB300R will prove to be either a death knell to cbr250r or hover around in extremely low volumes due to its gas guzzling high revving nature. We just have to wait and watch what they have in store..

2012 Auto Expo - KTM pulls out

We have rather grim news for you. If you were heading over to the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi just to get up close and personal with the new KTM Duke 200, it's not going happen. BSM has confirmed information that KTM will not be present at the Auto Expo. Sources also revealed that the launch of the Duke 200 will not take place at this Expo.

                            That article also says:
"Apparently, Bajaj has decided to concentrate heavily on its newly revealed four wheeler this Expo and so KTM had to be left out for now"

REally? Keep ur best product away and concentrate on a three wheeler thats converted to look like a four wheeler? REally?

All potential Duke buyers are hereby directed to buy this tinbox! (as they have found a HUGE market for this) aka RE60 (the auto's also come with a RE prefix, don't they?)

The Price of KTM 200 would leave everyone shocked(in a good way)
