  • Hero launched three new bikes yesterday, two of them are rip offs of current Honda stable and one is based on 110cc Honda engine which is on-road in India from more than 2 years now.
Today, Honda announced 5 new bikes, also importing 2 international offerings to India. CBR150R for mass market and all.
I would say Honda is 4 steps ahead in this four stroke engine game. :P

        • Honda unveils its CBR150R at the 2012 AutoExpo | Bike Chronicles of India

Very irrelevant torque figure given here. 12.66 N-m ?? bullshit.
And peak power at 10,500rpm, that is new for Honda bikes which generally have power in the lower rpms. Lets see. Anyone from the expo please update the specifications.

I remember having the same discussion with someone from TVS when the same bike was displayed in another expo.... Apparently the new bike is actually an engine made and maintained by TVS and used for thier motocross races as well!

              its 12.6Nm worldwide.
We're getting the 2011 CBR150R. Same version as the worldwide release last year. Maybe slightly detuned for fuel efficiency.

That indeed are the official specs of the CBR150R.. 17.8-18.0 Ps @ 10,500 RPM and 12.66 Nm of torque @ 8,500 RPM [Not 19 bhp as posted by some "blogs"].

You are one serious biker dude to spot this mistake & probably the same one who answered as to why there is no fuel knob in r15 in the ownership thread

please refer to google to know that same 150 released last year will be available here

This is no new bike developed for india

But I felt 12.66 N-m too low for it.

What kind of relation are you trying to establish between the fuel knob of R15 and me?! Yes it was me only because I didn't know much about an R15.

and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                            #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
