Triumph has announced seven (yes, you heard that right!) motorcycles for India and that includes the Bonneville, Tiger 800XC, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Daytona 675, Storm and the Rocket III Roadster. That makes it one sports bike, two cruisers and four naked street-muscle motorcycles - alright, watch that drool puddle!

Prices for four motorcycles have been announced so far. The Bonneville and Street Triple will retail at Rs 5.5 Lakh - seriously good pricing, especially considering they're on par with the entry-level Harleys and cheaper than the Kawasaki Ninja 650R while holding a displacement advantage. Next up is the Daytona 675, a theoretical rival to the Ninja (but we know it's much, much crazier), which is priced at Rs 7 Lakh - again, delicious pricing! Last in queue is the monstrous Rocket III which is priced at Rs 22 Lakh (all prices ex-showroom)

Triumph Motorcycles will operate via three to four dealerships in its first year of operations, a number that will go up to 12 in the next three years. Expect the dealerships to be highly dyed-in-the-wool affairs, with lots of rider/motorcycle accessories up for grabs. Exciting times, no? Now to rehearse that clipped accent!

besides the cbr 150r and the thunderbird 500 no other product seems to make sense

same old product with the same old engine with some new graphics and or a different name or brand

this just looks like a desperate attempt to get into the market or maybe its a stock clearance sale

I don't want to be the Mr. Obvious of Xbhp, but I don't like the designs too. Splendor looks like some local stuff made by a cheap company. Too many stripes.
Suddenly, the dual color Discover 125's seem so damn good looking.

Karizma ZMR could've been done with some 2 Color theme, but sticking tapes on every bend looks like a male wearing skin tight clothes... Atleast they should've left the rear and mudguard...!!

Hero. Please don't make such a mockery of yourself. Simplicity is still the best city... no matter what, when or where. A Simple White ZMR would've done more justice anyday.

Harley Davidson today launched two locally-assembled models at a price starting from Rs 9.95 lakh, which is much lower than that of imported motorcycles. FXDB Street Bob and FXDC Super Glide Custom, previously offered as Completely Built-up (CBU) imports, will now be available at all the seven dealership of Harley-Davidson. The two bikes belong to the company's Dyna family of motorcycle.

Hotting up the domestic super premium motorcycle segment, British bike-maker Triumph today entered the Indian market with the launch of seven models priced between Rs 5.5 lakh and Rs 22 lakh. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) launched a new 110cc commuter motorcycle called the Dream Yuga and a new Dio with an 110cc engine at the 2012 Auto Expo. But the biggest surprise was the launch of the Honda CBR150R. Honda also launched a new tri-colour CBR 250R which will be available for sale in dealerships from February 2012. The new Dio replaces its 102cc engine with the 110cc from the Activa. Honda’s CB Shine has also been given a refresh with new graphics and a 3D emblem. The 2012 Shine also gets handle bar end weights, tuff up tube tyres and an option of a 240mm disc brake in the front. Honda also showcased their two superbikes, the VT 1300CX and 2012 CBR1000RR Fireblade. The VT1300CX is a chopper powered by a 1312cc V-twin engine while the Fireblade is a 20th anniversary edition. It gets a ‘balance free rear cushion’, revised fuel injection settings, new wheels and an advanced LCD instrument panel. The 2012 CBR1000RR Fireblade will be available for sale at Honda owned exclusive Wing World showrooms in Delhi and Mumbai from this month itself.

Thunderbird 500
New Honda Dio with 110cc engine.
Passion Pro with 110cc twister engine
Maestro scooter with Activa's 110 cc engine
Honda Yuga 110cc
Suzuki Swish 125cc (design could be better from Suzuki, but something is better than nothing).

Each bike serves a different category of people.

Lets see what's in store in the coming days.

the thunderbird 500 totally rocks
soooo many goodies like efi, rear disk, meaty 41mm forks, projectors, bungee cord hooks, removable rear seat 20l tank coupled with awesome ergonomics makes it the most ideal touring machine
lets hear how it thumps with that exhaust

And about Hero and their recent painjobs which made into auto expo, just have a look at orange-white CBR150R and then at this Karizma ZMR. Those who have no idea about proper definations of beautiful and ugly will come to undertand it in instand after looking at those pictures respectively.

Those weird painting schemes from Hero will not come out; they are just for the show. You can't compare it with new color scheme of CBR250R.
