      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

          Re: UM Motorcycle

It's good to see this relatively unknown manufacturer taking an interest in the Indian market. Speaks a lot about the fact that people are taking note of the potential. But I do not understand one thing.. Why do their bikes have such an uncanny resemblance to Hyosung bikes!!??

It is almost like they are platform partners with Hyosung (a la Renault-Nissan in cars).

Did anybody else notice this? You can even see in the above pics that the tail lamp is an exact replica of the unit from the hyosung GT250R

          5 minutes later:

          Found an interesting article:

In my opinion its tail section is more got resemblance with the S1000RR with those horns coming out on the tail end. Not with the Hyosung GT250R. The dash is bit from the Triumph Daytona series. But anyways its a good looking machine and its specs sheet says its good too.

A variant of this bike is sold in Indonesia as well. Although it is a Chinese made bike, you can pretty much sell it under your own brand name even (provided you can order enough numbers - typical chinese business strategy).

Commando looks classy, and 220 cc's come in the Indian bracket, where is this company from!!
                    What are the price figures?

There are 2 threads for UM motorcycle, would be nice if they are merged!

this thread should be merged with this -->

the bikes shout "chinese" from every angle.

these chinese rip-offs or duplicate bikes should not be allowed in auto expo at all.

A little correction mate. the machine produces 17.27bhp. I have the pamphlet at home. I will take pic of it and add it to this thread

It is outrageous, doesn't our Autoexpo have any standard? Inviting everyone with two wheels into the exhibition irrespective of name or fame.
So typical, some cheapo chineese junk with a hollywood makeup..
