    same here !

I've got some on-board videos showing the formation riding! Will post them soon.
no wonder you were zipping past by...slowing down...and so...good though...would be great to show others about the formation and discipline we bikers back here have at xbhp !

I had good fun at the ride....and im delighted that we have such disciplined riders back here....

GOOD LUCK GUYS FOR YOUR RIDE !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

        • Mum bikers --thank you all for the awesome restraint many of you showed for such a huge turnout

I know it was frustrating to be at 60-70 kph on such roads ,but anyone would agree that seeing 50 riders in the RVM or ahead in tandem was just super fantastic

              • First of all - PROUD of the Mumbai Xbhp crew. You guys were ON TIME and FULLY GEARED UP! Good show guys

Next - PROUD of the Mumbai Xbhp crew for the discipline, restraint and group riding skills displayed today. Almost all the bikes were in perfect formation all through the ride regardless of the speed of the group leader. No wheelies were popped and no crashes...ok maybe 1 crash right outside McDonald's

Next - THANK YOU to Sunny, Sandeep, Praveen, Sunil, Noor, The BWM crew (Ashutosh, Amey etc.), The Roadshakers and everybody I met today.

Next - Sunny specifically for letting me ride his Ducati Monster 796. I absolutely loved it while I was riding it but later on after getting back on my MT-01, I realized why I love the MT

Sunny - following you while you were riding the MT-01 was a revelation. What you were able to do with my bike in the corners was nothing short of spectacular. Only later on did I realize that I was following right behind on the 796 so I must have been learning from you while following. I've never seen the MT-01 ridden this hard and this competently. Now I know that limits of the bike are further up than my mind was willing to let me believe. It was an astonishing experience following you and I'll cherish the ride back to Belapur from BWM.

Sandeep - interacting with you 1:1 while we waited at the hotel was eye opening. Thanks for the engaging discussions on everything 2-wheels. I think we have a lot more to discuss and even more to execute on in the days to come.

Satyen, Nin, DK, Ketan and the other riders who assisted with keeping the riders in formation - THANK YOU. I have never seen such a large group ride in sync like this...UNREAL! I am sure we made a huge impression on anyone who was watching us and perhaps more people will consider helmets, gloves etc. after today.

The weather was perfect and the climate was perfect. I am not fatigued at all after the ride...just got back home at 7:30pm after leaving the Xbhp crew at their hotel. Fresh as a daisy...

                WHAT A RIDE!!

                • Thanks a lot to everyone again for this mega ride, will remember this ride for the whole life... would have loved to ride the MONSTER, may be some other time. (May be I will own one in the future)

It was nice to interact with DK, Mandar (both), Satyen and meeting Alankar after so long.
                  Thanks a lot guys.

                    • A group ride like today's is a factual vindication of whatever xbhp stands for and exists for. It had all the positives that can be contained and expressed by motorcycling. Perfect understanding, no verticals of either skill or bike performance and an all-out camaraderie. I shall remember this day for a long time to come. Thanks you my Mumbai biking brothers for making me proud of group motorcycling.

Satyen; It was fun following you all through the morning today. And it has been quite some years since I've followed someone on the open road. And seeing you ride, I have no doubt that you'll be around to tell your riding tales to your great-grand children .

DK: we wouldn't have had a roof over our heads without you . Thanks for the efforts.

A thanks is due to Calvin urf Kalyan and our RTR man for your company right upto our hotel door-step. Ketan, Nin and other old-timers for being around for lead, sweep, videos and pictures. And of course for being there.

It was great to catch up with the Pune people. And of course meeting the irrepressible Baljeet Singh and his Road-shakers. We also had the honour of having Mr. Ashok Naidu, a man who beats me by almost a decade in age and probably by more as a rider. Such people are our inspiration.

GS: What else can I say except agree with all that you've stated. Moving over to face to face from the forum was great. It was good talking to you and riding with you. I can also understand your love for the MT01 'inspite' of the Ducati . And yes, Sunny's ride on the MT must have been an eye-opener.

All said and done, a wonderful and thoroughly memorable day so far away from home and yet so much at home. Thank you all for your good wishes, your company, your co-ordination and for being there. Its been an honour.

Thats good news! Sorry to say! but the ride from Pune was bad! few things I noted!
                          • There was no group briefing before the ride started, telling the riders how to maintain formation, basic hand signals, maintain speed and safe distance, who will lead, who will be the drag, what would be the average speed, etc. etc.
                          • The TATA Safari coming along should was stayed right at the end! after the last rider and not overtake us all the time! Almost ran over a couple of riders due to one guy riding like a Ahole! (more on this later). This will help if any riders have a crash or have some kind of failure.
                          • There was a guy on a Blue R15 with a blue Yamaha jacket who almost got me and few others killed a couple of times! This guy was over taking everyone like a idiot! then tried to take out his camera with both hand off the handle bar, slowing down without warning!(The R15 slows down quite hard when you go off the throttle completely at high speed/rpm) attempting a take pictures with one hand! putting the camera back! he did this alteast 3-4 times! I think he stopped after I gave him the finger 2-3 times! Also told him after we reached our destination.

I think much more discipline is required for group riding! Since some people were not part of xbhp! the group briefing is all the more important!

Thanks GS and OF sir! I forgot to clarify one thing during the ride/while at BWM. But anyway it was difficult to convey message to the whole group that was spread all over at BWM.

I was appointed the task of sweeping the last group lead by GS. But soon after the ride started Atul signalled me that he's fine with being a sweeper. That's why I got free to document the ride with the on-board camera. The blue R15 which overtook the entire convoy, a couple of times, was me documenting the ride. I tried my best not to be a trouble to anyone while doing so. But still if it was of any inconvenience to anyone, then I apologize

Talking bout the videos, the quality ain't as cool as a go-pro or high end action camera. But will post whatever I've got..

See you all you guys in many such G2Gs.. Even bigger than this one
