The ice shot with the machine as a distant backdrop is amazing....

This was the GIR, the Great Indian Roadtrip!

    This was Day20.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

They always say to cross a choten from the left side. Remember Tintin in Tibet?

                                The Great Indian Roadtrip : Day 39 : Oct 7th : Jaipur

it was getting dark and we had no time left for Chokhi Dhani so we decided to call it a day and headed back. On our way back, we even visited Shaheed Smarak and Vidhan Sabha Bhawan.

One would want to remember Jaipur for its monuments, clean roads, colors, and everything else, but the two things that impressed me most were the women with beautiful eyes and MOST IMPORTANTLY the acceptance of biking as sports here. Yes, we could avail discount on the entry ticket of City palace because we are riding across India on our bikes. Wherever we go, we are asked many questions by people, but most of these questions about our machines and not our ride or the GIR, everybody is interested in knowing the average of the machines that we have. But, here in Jaipur and City palace in particular, we met people who were interested and curious to know about the GIR, they paid the respect to the GIR that it deserves, especially the staff members of Royal Family of Jaipur, they were very keen. We even met a person here whose father used to work as a head mechanic for the cars of Maharaja of Jaipur; he used to maintain all these expensive, luxurious cars that are dream for the majority of us even today. He was very keen to see our big bikes and he even invited us to see the collection of these imported luxurious cars.
