That makes the two of us. More painful for me actually as I have ridden the bl*%#y thing already.
The double-bubbles are comin up soon.

Thanks Inder. The human inside the 'panditji' (he was real btw) couldn't resist the R1's charms. Had his own pics taken with his phone camera. Talk of the universal appeal of superbiking.

                Thanks @rickyshh. And happy 'saving'

Nice to hear that the feel of SuperBiking is spreading accross most of the areas....!!!

And moreover he looks so happy posing with the R1...

                              • The Passion Hunt India Roadtrip : Black and White I : Run In Episode 2

Pics taken by a Nokia N73

After the first run-in ride it was time to run in the second r1 for the Indian trip. This time we had the branded R15 and one Castrol R1 which is 80% complete (as far as the paintjob in concerned). So we had the following line up:
                                • Castrol R1 : ridden by Sunny
                                • Black R1 ridden by Old Fox
                                • Castrol R15 ridden Manan Chaturvedi
                                • Black Karizma ridden by Ashish (Himalayan tiger)

We left Delhi at 12PM odd and are relaxing at Aravali Resorts after doing 100 odd kms. Both the R1s are performing fantastic, the R15 is riding the inertia and the Karizma is also keeping up effortlessly without any strains associated with the R15 on the truck infested highway.

Manan just commented "there is no replacement for displacement" wrt to his ride

                                Day 1: Delhi - Jaipur

Day 2: Morning : NaharGarh (Jaipur)

We woke up at 5.30AM today (and I am pretty sure we woke up the rest of the hotel too with Manan switching on his inbuilt radio for our entertainment). This would be a long day with us doing photography in Nahargarh in the morning and attending a biker meet at The Rock in C Scheme in the evening.

So off we went towards the fort following the twisting roads. It was still pitch dark with the moon indicating where the sun will rise from.

I actually raced up the twisties with a lot of confidence on the R1. There might be two reasons for this daredevilry: 1. It was pitch dark, i knew there would not be any vehicle thing around the corner (anyways I was taking precautions by sticking to my side of the road) and 2. Since it was dark I could not see the road surface and the gravel which did not hinder with my confidence.

Later i rediscovered that its easier going up than coming down on downhill roads on front-end swooping down superbike.

                                Day 2 : Evening

After a rest in the hotel during the day we headed for The Rock, a fantastic hang out place in Jaipur (C Scheme). The owner is is a fantastic guy who arranged to call a few superbikers while I informed some xBhp members in Jaipur. It turned out to be a fantastic evening with a very nice cold coffee, lemonade etc.

The highlight was definitely meeting up with the R6 racer, Vikram, who has recently relocated from Dubai to Jaipur. Poor him, he was really missing the roads in Dubai, specially the tracks. We did manage to learn some nice things about track racing from him though at the coffee table.

The fantastic Fireblade: i really miss this bike!
