@samarth: The online winner is prakrit takkar. He is from delhi. He said that he spent 5 sleepless nights in voting for himself along with his friends.

If you know, the last 1 week before the final in delhi, castrol provided the users the to vote as many times as you can.


You should have spent 6 sleepless nights so that you could have won.. !!!

yes that it could be the possible reason.. as per my knowledge profile views will show the distinct count (assumed distinct IP), so can be a chance same people have voted multiple times..

I observed the websites behaviour very closely.
I was also keeping a check on lot of profiles as to who is having how many votes. I happened to get to prakrits profile also a day before the voting was closed. he at that time had 650 views and i had 1200 views. 15 mins before the voting closed down i had 1900 views and he had 1200.

Now I think a view is not a vote. it is just the count of how many times the page has been visited. If i visit any profile and keep on clicking the vote button 100 times i guess the view will increase by one and votes by 100.

I also kept considering these views as votes and was hoping to win this online competition.

I wish i could have got this earlier that views were not votes.

Also if you kept on cliking the vote button the view count was not increasing so i thought that it is not registering the vote.
I had close the browser, visit the profile again and then press the vote that increased the view. but the process was too slow and even after 3 sleepless nights and close to 50 people voting I could gather only 1900 views. dont know how many votes.
