March 26th Thurs 2009
Vishakhapatnam-Hyderabad: 680kms - A bit long ..but roads are good till Vijaywada (GQ)..after that its a little mad traffic road till hyd. We had left Vizag at around 5:30 AM and reached Hyd by 7:30... so its almost a full day..

March 27th Fri 2009
Hyderabad - What is this eventless days BTW ? rest / buffer / servicing ??

As some of our friends have already pointed out, Bangalore-Mangalore is in a very bad state....don't think of doing it.....its okay till Hassan, then it becomes worse.
Bangalore - Mysore is good. Mysore to Madekeri (30 kms before)is superb road - no divider..but very nice....

Vijayawada-Hyderabad road is now in good condition, apart from the mad traffic. The road is newly laid. Recently I have done this trip. Better to ride on this road daytime. Night time is a big NO.

. You are cleared to depart runway two-eight, wind two zero zero/one five knots, after departure maintain runway heading for one five miles then turn left heading zero niner zero, contact Approach at one two niner decimal two. Copy that and acknowledge.

Thanks young man! Yes, I am also looking forward to taking on the REAL Indian roads on a two wheeled jet fighter with afterburners perpetually engaged. You can bet your bottom dollar that you'll get a thousand tales from us once this is over

Now, we are talking! I understand this as I have been playing Microsoft Flight Simulator, and have done about 120 hours of flight time till now..

I already have a hunch that the GIR' 09 is going to be HUGE!
