        • Chris Pfeiefer Kolkata coverage........!!!

The legend was here.....that is what true legends are,
Down to earth, very much humane, friendly, does their job without complain, entertains others at the cost of their own energy and resources.
I watched Chris Pfeiefer very closely, I did not want an autograph or photograph with him but I kept observing what it takes to be a legendary motorcyclist...............even being a stunter Chris is a gentleman at heart without any arrogance or attitude, the appointed security organizers showed much more attitude than the man himself, such is the contrast. For once he inculcated sense in the raging crowd.......when he said,"it comes after a lot of practice".........infact years of hardship and perseverance.

When we talk about motorcycle racing we somehow remember Valentino always,
and when we talk of stunts Chris is always the one who is talked about.

Valentino and Chris are totally the same in their love for their fans,if one starts celebrating with his fans in the middle of a MotoGp track at the end of the race, then the other keeps answering the same questions again and again and keep signing endless autographs and posing for endless photographs disregarding his personal space.

What Rossi is to racing, Pfeiefer is to stunting............he is a great man,God bless him and help him to be larger than life always.

I also met Sunny Bhaiya(the great master Sundeep Gujjar) in person for the first time, and he, as always felt stressed and devoted to his prior commitments, a nice man to hang out with if given the time.I hope the next time he comes to Kolkata with some time in his schedule,I would like to ride with him and hangout at the same time.

I discovered SunilG too in the process, he is another person devoted to his prior commitments and is gifted with a discrete sense of responsibility.

I really admire that because of such people and their judgements and understanding , Xbhp is where it is today

Chris's bike BMW F800R, goes from place to place in a yellow truck of DHL courier company.Chris's tour has been sponsored by BMW Motorrad and Red Bull India. The crowd went amok when they heard the sound of the aftermarket BMW exhaust for the first time.(I started feeling nostalgic memories of childhood when I visited circus and the able stunters appeared in their loud bikes defying the notions of gravity and physics.)
Then Chris tested the F800R and the stunt track with a show of 360 degree burnout, the crowd got shot with awe.........but this was nothing. He went back got himself safely kitted up in stunting gears and came back to pump adrenaline in the blood of a standing crowd.
Chris wanted to see the interest of crowd in him, he felt that there was something different with the crowd in The City Of Joy.The crowd kept shouting his name and that he is awesome and marvelous.
And the BMW roared zoomed of, went up circled around, smoked up leaving tyre trails, kissing the adorable hostess and at the same time driving her nuts ..............at the end of which he finished each of his sessions with a somersault over the handle bars while getting off his bike.

Chris declared he is from the land of snow and the heat here got him worked out really. After an hour of show he started sipping Red Bull and got bombed by enthusiasm and curiosity and pose crazy fans.Chris handled everything very well.............afterall being humane is his nature.Overall the Kolkata crowd loved his presence and I hope Chris enjoyed that too.

Chris declared he maybe back next year and the crowd here is addictive.

Then he packed up his bike himself in the truck.Felt nice to see so many things in common with him and myself. He loved his bike like another human, trusted it more than himself and applauded it when he completed his show.He packed it up himself until and unless it was all parcelled in a box and radiator was set to drain off.

He left the grounds in a white Toyota Innova...........what remains is his essence.People like him truly makes the world a beautiful place to be in.

Here are some pictures which I took with my low battery camera, since I forgot to recharge it before the event

          Hope everyone likes it.

          The man himself.

He appeared silently on the ground,he was standing at my back and I didn't know it, when I turned I was awestruck and another person started shouting praises at which he went away to get his bike.

Getting a feel of the track.

          The Great BMW F800R

Getting a feel of the crowd before starting the show.

          Getting it rolling

          Up it goes

          Down it comes

          Left and Right

          Round and Round

Hands on the shoulder of the adorable hostess, but Chris is actually in middle of a 360 degree rolling burnout.

Apart from all the above he also exhibited many other stunts, like riding while sitting on handle bars, burnouts and this and that, but in all those moments I was too busy watching him instead of getting my camera to work.

Very very nice work Chris..............hope to ride with you someday in those lovely roads of Europe.....Come back again

P.S.Our Master Sunny Bhaiya had got 1000 pics clicked, all of fantastic resolution, I hope he and SunilG saab would also post some of them here.
