    You are right Sksy, its more due to technology rather than anything else however here goes.

    I arrived in Mattengofen yesterday, near Salzburg. MattG is the HQ of KTM, a small peaceful village more than a town. The KTM HQ is spread over various big complexes and 1500 people out of the 6000 odd living in the town work for KTM there! I guess it should be renamed to KTM City of something!

    I was introduced to a few key people at KTM, one of which helped me make a decent route for the next 3-4 days (the rest of the route is still pending).

    This time around I wil not be knowing where i will stay at the end of day which makes me even more free to make my own route in real time.

    I am planning to cover Austrian Alps, then cross over to Slovenia, then come back from below via the Dolomites int Switzerland and he French Alps, then Germany and then finally back to Austria via Innsbruck.

                  I am so excited even though I am stuck on the wrong side this time!! Having tasted a bit of the Alps myself with you the last time, I know what the lure and pull of this majestic terrain is all about. It has pulled you back and I am sure one day, I too shall return!
