This reminds me of my weekend in India with this machine!
Great one. But which hotel are you putting up at?
I am at the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl. Room 130.The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Why not?
This a separate sub ride, how can i miss my first ride on this one in the Alps! Got the bike from BMW Munich directly and couldnt help but oblige
..
Its a fantastic machine, smooth, very powerful, star of the road, every stares at it, looks ahead of its time with the asymmetrical typical lights.
Right now going to this place

and then will head to Garmisch which has the BMW Motarrad days going on!

a simple and stupid question at any one who can reply please
Is Sunny bro getting the bikes from the respective companies because he runs a magazine or any layman can get it by requesting the required authority with required documents and reputation or experience of a tour-er ????

Sunny. Another super ride in the making I guess. KTM, BMW, next Aprillia and Moto-guzzi??
Halstatt was one among my favourite places (BTW the chinese are duplicating that town in Guangdong province!). Some of your route in Italy & Slovenia are similar to mine. Its too intoxicating.
Seems like you & ken have something naughty up your sleeves with Garmisch...Waiting for more.

Sunny goes into meticulous planning for his rides. He plans them months and months in advance.Originally posted by Haroon View PostSunny. Another super ride in the making I guess. KTM, BMW, next Aprillia and Moto-guzzi??

Mine are mostly impromptu. I was in Paris for a few weeks. Munich got to know that I was around. And they invited me. I just had a drinking session this afternoon with the Motorrad guys from Munich who came down to Garmisch this afternoon!
But rain is playing BIG spoilsport. It is indeed a pity.
And Sunny and I have somehow missed each other. He has called me while I was riding.
I texted him and maybe he did not notice or he was too far off.The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

It was raining a lot in this area yesterday but I anyways made to to Garamisch where the BMW Motorcycle Days were taking place. There were thousands of BMWs, all types and sizes with all types of people riding them.
I also met with Nick Gravely who has a hand in designing the TVS Apache back in those days in India. Did a quick tour around and then headed of to see the castle i mentioned earlier in this thread. It turned out that i couldnt get the same view at all and was dissapointed. Nevertheless rode bak to Innsbruck in biting cold on the highway at 140-150 (which seemed almost standstill on the perfectly planted S1000).
Some quick pics:

Right now I am rushing to Timmelsjoch pass and the GrossGlockner (the highest mountain in Austria and a mecca for bikers)

All the very best for da rest of da ride.
it is a machine - on which they give you training- on how to do a wheelie or how to achieve a balance point in wheelie.
