    no doubt its an attractive price; however, I still wonder as to how many people would be able to buy it...It is still out of the reach of most of us. People are still compromising by buying HONDA CBR250R instead of a Ninja 250R simply coz of the cost involved.

    Honestly guys, I wanted to go for the best quarter litre bike in the world, too bad I'd to settle for the CBR250R. Our 9to5 jobs with heart breaking salaries dont allow us to just go for it, but to think 10 times before going for it....

      Ducati Showroom in Bangalore

      Guys, for some issues, the ducati showroom in bangalore has been closed from months; Any idea on when it reopens, and when it will start the bookings for new new Ducati Monster795 ???

        If you are referring to the one on the lavelle road, am highly skeptical if it would open again. Rumors that Ducati might open showroom in Koramangala area but needs to be confirmed.

            Has anyone booked the Ducati 795? I was very very keen on booking the bike before Triumph put its bikes into the mix. Even more so the stories of bad dealers and insane part prices that I've read after that time just won't let me go ahead and make the booking.

              M795 ... A nightmare

              HI Guys, this is for all those who have booked the Ducati M795. I booked mine in Jan and was promised del in end March. later in march they promised April 1st Week and in April they have said May. Till date they do not have a clue as to when the dels will be given. i spoke to the sales staff and he had no clue abt the dels too. so i went in for a cancellation as it does not make any sense in getting the bike after mid may as i would not be riding in the rains. Initially i was told that the refund wont be possible as its in their contract. but after pulling a few strings i managed to convince them for a refund. i have received mails from Ducati saying they have accepted my cancellation and refund will be transferred soon. i wanted to share this with the others who are being troubled by them. According to my talks with them since the past 4 months i assume they cannot start the dels before August. Thats all the info i can share. all the best to the others who have booked the bike.

                Thanks for posting. I got a very similar feeling from my chat with them last week. I asked if the bikes that were booked in Jan have been delivered yet and they said no. I asked how long it would take if I book now and they said 3 months. But they were pretty hazy about the entire thing for me to take a call on booking so I decided to wait until some of you got the bike and posted about it.

                Also with the Audi - buyout I am not very sure how things will get sorted out - things just might take some more time.

                  M795...saga continues.

                  Hi Guys, am back once again with my sorrows... remember the last time i had written on this page all the trouble i had gone through with my booking of the M795. yes i m back.. sorry but the last time i had posted my problem, ducati peeps called me and asked me to delete it and promised to refund my money in a week. now its been more than a week and they are not even taking calls. At one point i even told them not to give my money back and to continue my Order and they said that would be great but they said the dels will start only after June...thats all for now. tomm will post all the e-mails i have had from their end...Once again all the best to guys who have booked the M795..                       ^^^ Understood about the availability, stock and the fact that every buyer needs to wait, etc. But ignoring customers talks volumes about what kind of pathetic service they have to offer.

                              As of yesterday they say deliveries may start end June, and they have increased the price by 40k even for those who booked in Jan under the introductory offer.

                                Hi Guys glad to join this forum. Yes there have been delivery delays. I continue to hold on to my booking. Mumbai's Precision motors have assured that the deliveries will start from Mid August 2012. It has been frustrating but once you test ride the M795 all of the angst is lost. I used to own a Kawasaki 650R , which pales in comparision with the Duck.
                                Just to add the price rise On Road Mumbai is only Rs.13279/- which is fully attributed to the rise in Service Tax.
