Yup it should be close to 8 lakhs OTR .

Now the dilemma begins Ducati Monster / Speed Triple / Daytona 675 . ?

Quite high for that bike . Even if its a Ducati .

dont think there will be any dilema between monster and daytona 675.. Completely diff bikes in different segments....

Street triple has a big price advantage over the monster..

I can see Speed triple vs monster may becoming a dilema for some though.

STILL very Poor pricing by ducati. Begs the question of whether they didn't know about triumph's plans to enter India this year .

EDIT: Confused Street Triple with Speed triple when i originally posted.

yes i also feel the same Ducati overpriced it, if they would have priced at 6 lakhs ex then it would have been great, Triumph inline 3 sounds even better then a v twin in my opinion, both Daytona 675 N Ducati 795 are priced at 8 lakhs otr so which one will one go for a big dilemma but if i would blindly Triumph....

Until two days ago I was pretty sure that I was going to go for the 795 based on the price guesstimates released. Now triumph is the one I am looking up to. Its odd how much things change in an efficient market

India has come a long way in a few years

Lot is being said about the Ducati being overpriced...but guys, the Ducati is not called the Ferrari of bikes for nothing! The Ducati's and Ferrari's of the world, are always overpriced and that is precisely how they remain exclusive!

You are not just paying for the hardware, but also for being part of an exclusive club, with super high snob value.

              Kawasaki Ninja 250r

Yup dude . Ferrari of bikes is a nice word to put it . But a Ferrari for the poor people is what the 795 was meant to be . It is still out of the reach for many who were so hopeful .

I think we need to evolve a bit as a market and stop asking "kitna average" and other such questions when it comes to exotics and lifestyle automobiles. A Ducati costs more because it offers an experience beyond just how many Rupees per CC or cylinder you are paying. Ride it to understand it.

For anyone who doesn't agree, there are VFM brands that will satisfy your need.

Reducing the price after only two days of launching the bike does not seem to be part of any plan, but an ultra quick reaction to the prices announced by Triumph (not saying it's a bad thing). Street triple still seems to be the better option between the two, considering the triple is over 100 bhp, liquid cooled, etc. The only problem is Triumph is still quite a few months away from being available. Lot to think over for prospective buyers. I for one will wait for Triumph.

I love this competitive growth, in my last expo visit i never imagine that in just 2 years we have so many bikes to choose from 4.5-7 range, and i know this is becoming more and more interesting.

@ Ducati - make this limited offer permanent. I would love to add second Italian beauty in my garage.

Good Job Sunny EDIT: Sunny, are they coming up with any new Delhi/NCR Dealership?
