      • I am sure that as the trip progresses, We will see more detailed coverage and extreme eye-candy pictures.
Life is like riding a bike. It is impossible to maintain your balance while standing still.

          • @Ken: I will work with the following plan to optimize my time in the trip. I will be posting the blogs with photos which have one liners about them in green on the bottom left. The blogs will have a little text. Detailed text with guides etc will be added after the trip when I am making the integrated website.

Also, I am not Ajay D or Mithun Da or for that matter, Krishnendu Kes who can perform death defying tactics like scraping their knees on public roads.

Ok, thanks. I thought as much. I suppose you are taking notes as you go along for updating later.

That still does not answer the question of how you are riding two motorcycles simultaneously without doing death defying antics! Who is the 2nd person... IF there is a 2nd person accompanying you. (From your photographs, I am assuming he is a local. An intro on that person would be nice!)

              • Some really beautiful shots of the garden there. Looks like a tropical garden at higher latitude setting... I wonder how difficult it would be to maintain that... but on 2nd thought, I think that Japan and Ireland are on similar latitudes. Hence not much sweat. I liked the signage, "Easy path" contrasted to "Path of Life". And also the quote that you posted: "...traces the journey of a soul from Oblivion to Eternity...", really loved that one.

One of the horses looked like a Marwari. Have to get closer to be sure.

                  • Ken, I think you are not reading the image tips in green on the lower left side). . It is Paul Rollins, the owner of Celtic Rider Motrorcycle rental. He is a fantastic guy, 49 years old (yet another 'middle aged' guy . Looked very much like Aamir Khan when he was a little younger in the pictures.

He is the first person to start a motorcycle rental company in Ireland with comprehensive insurance due to very strict government regulations. He has got a fantastic fleet of motorcycles and a very good setup.

He has just got two Honda CBF1000 with ABS and full fairings. I will be testing one of those too.

Meanwhile, here are highlights from yesterday's ride (please read the lines in green for info on the lower left side of the images):

He starts riding out from 8-9 AM tomorrow local time. He spent the day riding around Dublin and says that he has already clicked so many pictures that he is hard pressed in terms of time to process all of them!
For a change, am seeing Unprocessed photographs.

And this was what I was talking about. Guess these shots are from some cam phone, Not from Sunny's Camera, or perhaps the pics dint get the chance to mate with a computer. But am liking it more this way.

I am trying to say i can only post photos directly to FaceBook using my mobile phone, and not xBhp because of technical limitations while I am on the road! If I have to post photos taken from my mobile to xBhp from my phone the I would have to take out my laptop in the middle of the road, connect my phone with a USB to the laptop, download the pictures and then upload them on xBhp and then FINALLY insert them into my reply here! Phew, wouldnt that be a lot easier if someone (read Aryan does it for me?).

And here is day 1 pictures from the DSLRs, hope you will clear me of the allegations now :

There's a 20deg difference in the latitudes there Ken, between Japan and Ireland. Which amounts to almost 2200kms and that is again almost a third of the Earth's radius of curvature. Couldn't help it there...the numbers tickle the engineers bone inside there you know. Building and maintaining such a garden is sure quite a feat.

Calling Ken and Anurag....see that part in BOLD N RED. How many days to go before this guy hits Indian soil? You'd better get your personal 'army' pictured above over with you 'young man'. Three 'middle aged' men will be waiting for you here .

Great pictures there Sunny. And better still is the variety of bikes you're riding. A memorable experience this...both for you there and us here. Thanks for the pictures and posts.
I don't let my motorcycles interfere with my motorcycling...
