The timing of the trip took me a bit by surprise.. you told me another 2 weeks, and guess things went faster than expected/planned

No Offence but somehow I feel we have places which are as good if not better than what have been posted so far. The earlier trips somehow had better locales. May be its the weather.

Check out these images from my piddly P&S Camera taken during my recent trip to Konkan. Imagine what could Sunny do at such places

          • @technocrat: yes, you are right, India has similar stunning places. But then the difference stops there. I cannot imagine taking a BMW on smooth silky roads leading to places like these, traffic manners, clean air, leave the bike unattended - all these little quirks which add up to be a headache. But the mountains here in Ireland are absolutely nothing but ,mere bumps in from of our Himalayas, and yes I admit - the Ladakh and the Spiti regions are the most spectacular I have ever seen anywhere till date, I dont think I will ever see anything more humbling that that.

But these talks aside, Ireland packs a serious punch, especially for anyone who wants to go on a fantastic honeymoon, really.

Yesterday, I was out photographying till 11 PM in the bright night. We descended into the famed Burren at Ballyvaughan with mist settling in the valley. I could see the cows graze in the night through the mist and I took a photo, lets see how that comes out at 6400 ISO!

As a result i had to contend with a plain cheese sandwich with Coke for dinner.

Today the weather was phenomenal - clear blue skies interspersed with while clouds and bright sunshine. i did the Connemara, which was absolutely stunning.

Reached Wesport at 10 PM and hunted out a fantastic lB&B overlooking beautiful mountains.

            The picture for the day:

            • ^ me and Paul spent 2 hours around one area searching for something like this which I had seen on the internet - a tunnel of leaves. This was also far from what I had seen, but the closest resemblance we could get to.

              Another of such roads below:

                            Sunny

We are all too busy sometimes to recognize other people and what they are doing. I saw your photographs and was really impressed. I am very impressed with people who chase a dream and even if they don’t quite catch it, trying is what really counts. It inspires others to try and do the same. You are one of those inspirational characters. Keep going fella, I’m watching you!

                            Kindest regards
