    You're welcome! I personally think it was good in a way that these logs were late, since I am certain I would not have spent hours on a log back then due to my schedule.

    But finally I am catching up! Just three more day's logs - and I feel I am reliving the experience once again because I have to be transported mentally in order to write these logs. It is a nice feeling....!

          December & Jaisalmer - Oh!!! Yes;
          I was just talking about the trip to Bikaner to my wife this morning & she was like are you nuts to do? But then I was saying, probably in the winter & then she kinda agreed nodding her head disapprovingly (you, see that's the problem with women)

          Would love to, but I'm on my way to Mysore & Coorg; so I guess, I'll take an opportunity to introduce my family & hit the highway.

          Well, I like to do the Himalayan trip except for the winter ; I'd enough experiencing Winters at Michigan & Minnesota for my lifetime.

            That place is certainly a delight, especially in winters. Am going back there for sure again.

            Well, it was the whole package - a fully suited rider with a green sportsbike. They were also interested in how I had my saddle bags on so tight.

              I hope it wouldn't be snowing in winter, extreme cold is good, but not the snow.

                    • No better way to begin a dream ride, than to be seen off by fellow bikers. I remember how much I wanted to come to see you off for this wonderful initiative, but late hours at office the previous day prevented me. Added to that, there was a function at home after a couple of days (weekend).

                      An awesome start to the ride I must say, & a nice day 1 to begin with.
                      A room in The Taj @2300 is a steal, even if in the remotest part of the country (not that this one was remote). I'm sure you couldn't have found a better place than this to rest the aching body, & tired muscles.

                      I'm not too fond of reading triplogs, & this one was apt for me. Short, & sweet. & quick.

                      I'm now off to reading the Day 2 log.

                      The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
