Anyways, the day was fun. But I would like to point out some important stuff. The heat was absolutely unbearable. And although there was ample water available, pedestal fans were very few. I was surprised to see that the xbhp stall wasn't provided one. Not right for a partner to Stuntmania.

Even inside the tent there were 4 fans. In the play station area, there were 4 fans.

And about the GDs. I was one of the participants. The organization was SHODDY. The first round of GDs was properly announced. serial number 1001-1030 was asked to line up near the paintball area by the Emcees. But all the batches (of 15) after that never even knew when it was their turn.

Even I would have missed my GD. It was sheer luck. I was walking back to the xbhp stall to collect my camera and was apprehended by one of the crew members who asked me if I was waiting for my GD. I said my number hadn't been announced, and he was openly venting frustration at the poor management. After 1001, many batches missed their GDs! I was 1086, and with me in the GD room there was 2013 serial number! We were a cluster of non-consecutive numbers, and people between us missed their GDs! Pathetic!

It seemed like the Emcees were more interested in forcibly selling us stuff from the MTV stall, or asking us to wear thick black (woolen-looking ) armour ant play paintball in the supremely scorching heat- all very fine for them, sitting under shade and a fan exclusively for them.

Now onto the GD. It seemed Roadies all over again. But less tame. The question asked was 'Kolkata is the best stunt city or what?'. There was a thug in a Black tee with a tattoo and a piercing on the bottom lip (very conspicuous, many might have noticed him). He began yapping in a fake accent about all the stuff he's done (which, was completely off-topic). I and 3 others began go cut him off and discuss the topic in earnest, when the started verbally abusing everyone and daring us to challenge him on stunts. I shut my mouth and knew there and there, might is right. You don't have to be on-topic. Whoever can shout the loudest, be the most aggressive, use the choicest swear words, and pick fights just to prove a point is the one who gets selected. I don't know if the guy got selected (really pointless and a total waste if after all this he didn't) but because he picked a fight (2-3 blows) with a guy in a blue T-shirt, the mods said everyone was disqualified. I don't think that was the sole reason, it was also because none of us actually said or discussed anything while they both were hurling abuses. I was seriously waiting for the mods to throw both of them out, but apparently that is what they want.

I have no regrets that I didn't speak up, or attempt to abuse for the heck of it. I learnt the hard way. Its all about TRPs, and a nice peaceful GD doesn't sell as well as one frought with dirty talk and brawls.

Thank you MTV. I don't need you to become a stunter. I have decided to do it myself, and my way, maintaining my dignity.

Oh, yeah, out application forms didn't matter. I'm 100% sure, if the Mods had bothered to check the forms and the matter inside, they would know the depth of each person sitting there.

P.S.- In comparison to the pics posted by everyone, mine are not that great, and are repetitive...

WHAT!! fight in GD ho ho ho i am speechless I wish I was there anyway but it was really bad guys don't know the do's & don'ts & etiquettes of GD & even it was the responsibility of MTV guys to inform the do's & don'ts of a GD & instead of throwing out those guys who were fighting they stopped the whole GD WTF .MTV guys can't even plan a program properly & even I've seen many stunter came out there without even licence so without checking that how can MTV allows them to sit in the GD
Anyway I also believe that whatever they did only for fu**ing TRPs.
may be the two guys who started the fight were hired from MTV , may be this was all setup
