Other than being a part of official review team I had a chance to cover the launch event today followed by a short stint of 10minutes at the test track where all the people invited got the opportunity to click some photos. I didn't rode the bike just clicked some photos in the given timeframe

    The Ninja 650R is here

    The side quarter

Ninja has a new face in India

    The comfortable handle bar grip

    Fully digital instrument panel

Detail under the tank which is eye catching

    Offset mono-suspension and riding position

Thankfully the review is in Sunny's words. Recent reviews tended to involve such words from the language which had the complicity and tendency to take the mind away from the motorcycle to the language. Sunny and SunilG write in clear language. Praveen too.
        Thanks. Nice informative review

Superb pics @ Sunny and @MG , loved the photography, gave the bike a better look, comparisons are quite sufficient enough, The tacho has killing looks.
But cant get the segment of the bike, would it be tourer ?
Price segment will definitely be giving super-motorsports a good rise.!
Comparisons with the GT650 would make it much better, that will be the right bike to compare at present with this.

Decent review, but too much of unwanted nerdiness in it.... doesnt fill the 'need for info' quotient... ofcourse we have other reviewing sites for it.
Pics are brilliant and the review comes across as just around the 'art form of pics'

                  - Wrong spec sheets. One is a chromed exhaust carbed 250
                  - The spec sheets goes awry, the correct comparo should compare
Category with BIKE A, BIKE B the incorrect alignement makes it measure different category and variable
                  - When the write up talks about exhaust the pic shows the handlebars
                  - When the write up talks about the clock (console) it shows something else
                  - The factory pic is an eyesore IMO

                  Just my two cents.

Edit: These are just little things that transforms the good into the best! I hope it helps in the vision to make xBHP the BEST motorcycling magazine man!
                  i agree with you..

Eye candy pics and nice review team

My question is what is the intent of the underlined text above
Does this mean that IKM is planning for some price reduction after some time ???

Awesome pics...The 650 era started in India. Ninja 650 looks heavy on the front end & Back side looks empty without the traditional silencer. May be this is the most modern design But personally I love N250's design..It is one of the most beautiful bike in world . Anyway hearty welcome to N650 to India
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

                        About the "Looks"
I loved the 650 the first time i saw and sat on it itself.compared to the 250R...both are good.650 is a good looking tourer and the 250 is a good looking sports bike, and as we all know Sportsbikes attract most of the Indians.

                                Fuel Capacity..

The website spec sheet states a fuel capacity of 15.5 litres, but the review states 18 litres in BOLD. Which one's wrong?
