Oh!! It was an internal joke...

PS: I think Bajaj can get the z750 in for a slighly higher margin... closest competitor is the monster (cheapest) so make money there!
6.x Lakhs and its a neat product!

But a bird in hand is better than two in bush.

PS: The z750 is a sweet i4, but has windblasts like crazy.... (and yes there is a after market puig shield for that )

        Ninja?

Does'nt anybody think that the 650 is just a ER-6F repackaged as a Ninja for the Indian market ?
Yes, putting a Ninja sticker simply boosts market acceptance but, in terms of performance does not get the bike anywhere close to the real Ninja family of motorbikes.

will rather wait for the real Ninja- ZX6R!

Ninja 650R got a agricultural motor sound and not so awesome looks. I am thinking of letting it pass. If this baby has been launched, so will other babies like ZX6R and yamaha R6. I can almost smell them. Better to save more and wait for them...

            Yeh Dil maange MORE

I think the best powerful bike produced for India would be CBR600F. It's got I4 cylinder engine producing 100 bhp, clip ons, ABS option. Plus it's comfortable for rider as well as pillion.

But it was too late by then and it had been rendered and uploaded. I must get myself a Flip or something ( you hear Mr.subramanium?)
Sunny - my comments were not directed at the video. I haven't even watched it yet. The general populace here has a tendency to shutter out any bike that wasn't featured in Dhoom/Dhoom-2/Dhoom-3 and whatever else sort of tinsel rubbish that litters the editing room floor.

They are so blinded that they can't see the bike for what it is! Something that will get them to work and back everyday, take them to ladakh and back without any unwarranted drama and still be around 10 years from now as boring and laid back as it was the day you bought it. Nobody wants a "good" wife...they want an axe-murderer in the sack! It is when this "high maintenance" vamp takes off with some other guy that they realize the gravity of their mistake.

How many you have lived with a ZX6R to know what it is like to ride on a daily basis. I can tell you...
              1. Early clutch replacement. The combination of the bikes non-existent bottom-end torque and our stop-go-traffic = Clutch Kebab!
              2. Invest in new fairing lowers and exhaust headers everytime you hear that delightful "scrrrruncchch" as you go over a speed-breaker. Or look like a total spanner as you climb off the bike, gingerly roll it over the speed-breaker and clamber back on it while the aunty on her Activa overtakes you...again...for the 15th time that morning!
              3. Wear heat-reflective clothing...or re-deploy your mom's oven mitts around your calves and thighs as your legs gradually cook into drumsticks as the heat from the radiators is generously blown onto you!
              4. Watch your wallet cringe as the 97 octane bills come tubling down the slopes of sHell!

Among other issues...this applies to most I4 bikes unless you plan to ride only on weekends and early in the morning.

A smart individual or a successful investment banker win because they invest in the right resource at the right time and place. I posted on Facebook about buying a Hayabusa or a Gixxer 1000 and quickly dropped my plans as a passing bout of mental degradation.

I am sticking with the MT01 which runs on almost anything you can fill the tank with. In addition I will invest in a smaller second bike to putter around town and take to far-away destinations. The 650R is the top contender at this point in time.

ZX6R - definitely possible. I have tested this in Chakan along with some other Xbhp members and journalists. Please see message above for reasons why this could be the worst decision you ever make!

Yamaha R6 - as Yamaha doesn't do CKD yet and I have not heard of them investing in an assembly line so far...this is some ways off into the future.

                Fantastic Review X-Bhp

                Friends,

Can anyone post some clear shots of the LEFT side?
Mostly all snaps are of the RIGHT side.

Any chance of ABS version in India?
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

@gs: yep. stick to the Mt01, you know it handles well despite its weight .

And yes, the onus of elevating this kind of thinking lies on us and xBhp, so lets do it!

Nice review, amazing pricing for a 600+cc bike! Now, really hoping for the launch of Yamaha R6 to take the game at the next level.

hehhehe @GURU is on fire. Jokes apart.
Looks like everyone is keeping an eye on @GS comments rather than the review. At least i am

You dont even read do you?

What both worlds are you talking about? Touring and Track orientation?

The ZX6r is an outright SBK. Like guru said the power delivery in lower RPMs is JUST not there... the real maniac effect kicks in on higher RPMs...

I havent ridden the 10r, so wont comment... but the delay in power delivery is supposedly trademark (Kawasaki) sports orientation. Early lul. Crazy later!

                              You want a Sports-Tourer BUY a Busa.
Where do you intend to use that extra power for a touring perview?

Out of your 50 posts 46 are rants about wanting an I4, SPARE THIS THREAD if you are not interested in THIS bike. Start a new thread, and crib there! Spare this discussion please!
