I went to probiking showroom in Gurgaon, they quoted a price of Rs 459191 ex showroom with on road at about 4.95 lac.
Downpayment was about 1.8 lac with 11000 X 36 emi.
The bike was big and very tempting. was looking very good build quality and green was very attractive.
test ride was not possible or even check the seating position.
all I could do was check exhaust note which was flat vrrr.... louder the more you twist the throttle... instead of vroooom, vrrrroooommm, what you get from supersport bikes, much like cbr250r's.
was impressive and am definitely a prospective buyer now...

Bookings are closed all over INDIA!!! Seems da first lot is sold out!!!!
But in the mean while was going through the latest Autocar India Mag. Found this very peculiar that the Audi RS5 the latest offering from AUDI as a performance car cant catch Ninja 650 R till the 1/4 mile on a drag. Both these machines have a Quarter mile dash of 12.94sec each.
But the irony is till 150kmph N650R cant be caught and da AUDI costs 75 Lakhs and the N650R just costs 5 Lakhs, i.e. 1/15 of the price!!!
Gives da performance a very different perspective!!!!

-Going to affect the fuel efficiency
-Performance
-Difficulty in managing RPM for a certain period of time
-Will also affect the compression ratio

I wonder which car will catch up with ZX6R, let alone liter bikes.Originally posted by xionite View Post
If 650R is 4.5 lac, we can assume ZX6R to be about 6.5 lac...
It gives a lot of value perspective.

Its written that both for N650 and N250 as for fuel is concerned unleaded/91 Octane meaning both can be used which wont hurt da bike but will hamper da performance da same amount as the 250. So probably N250 will have a better say in this...
My MJ sure Unleaded will not solve da purpose of a DRAG!!!
