LOL! you can forget it for now I think. My brother told me that the showroom in navi mumbai may have sold off their only ninja 650 display bike too to someone as it's not there anymore and the dealers said that it has been sold. xD
        Biking is transcendental evolution.
        Longest ride(Mahindra Mojo)- Delhi - Kempty - Chakrata - Delhi - 860 kms - 3 days.

Keep your bike in good repair: Motorcycle boots are NOT comfortable for walking.

YOU CAN TAKE THE BIKE OUT OF MY GARAGE, BUT YOU CAN NOT TAKE THE BIKER OUT OF MY MIND

                      • As per my last conversation with the Mumbai dealer.. the bookings for Ninja 650R should open in April... however, words being words i guess this cannot be considered a true statement till Bajaj officially announces so. Sad that a friend of mine really digs this bike, has the money to by it on the spot but no bikes to buy!!

                        • It would be of great help if someone could gather info whether the 2012 naked version is coming to India. Else I would rather buy a hyosung gt-650 without waiting for this.

Sounds like you are issuing ultimatum on the forum!!

Ninja 650 is not a bike worth waiting for. Go ahead & buy GT 650R

I really doubt Naked Ninja will be available in any time soon [read as years ] as they already pitted N650 faired which is all purpose bike [read as semi tour/race/city] there is no chance of getting naked so soon as it might not sell in numbers [when full faired available].
if ur a naked bike lover , then currently GT650 suits you and there is no match for it currently [+ there is no issue related to fit & finish due to absence of fairing], just go and book it [also just check GT650/R thread for some owners reviews which are present in the same thread]

                              • I already tested the Gt-650 naked version. It was awesome. Just that ninja is tempting. Is the ninja's seating is upright like in the hyosung? I am a short rider, hence I cannot bear with the crouching positions.
And that I can get the Gt-650 for 4.4Lacs OTR chennai which I feel worth the money. What do you guys think?
