btw this bike is the shortest in length. Shorter than a Honda by 5 mm. 5mm is small but if u wanna have your pick, gixxer is shorter than the blade. But its Decepticon looks make it look larger. When I saw this bike in metal it felt like its gonna spring into becoming a giant transforming Robot ANYTIME

    edited for correction.

edit 2 : I also wanna throw in something about the power modes. Suzuki is bang on with its power modes. Its not a 'make look' kind of Yamaha's useless modes( I am not gonna say sorry to the yamaha folks..its a fact). On a Suzuki the modes actually work delivering better mileage in the 600 aka C mode. I am having to ride the Blade right now and I miss the modes on my bike sorely. I have had a couple of moments on the Blade where the power of a 1000cc was just downright so insane that I got off the bike at home and could hardly hold the lighter to light my cig. Too much throttle when I already know I have the reflex and feel of a 3 year old jacked up on energy pills is a common occurance on a 1000cc....and it aint a healthy habit I am falling prey to. I want those mighty modes !

edit 3: MY FEARS HAVE COME TRUE. THE GIXXER INDEED IS A DECEPTICON. watch this vid

Thats one of the best bike video i have seen for quiet some time now ten. kudos...!!!
    Lots to do still...

Thanks...penning down any experience right now is being a pain in the ass. Everytime I get free from work its either raining outside or my wife is raining untensil blows on me inside !
I will soon write the ride exp in detail. Just gotta sort out the above stated issues.

                          • The gixxer is really loaded with sporty features. The best is the Front suspension the development of which was a joint venture between Suzuki and Showa. The result is what we have today BPF ( bIg piston front fork) suspension.

                          • The gixxer also sports a double barrel fuel injection system. One of its only kinds..the injector has 12 atomised holes in it which sprays miniscule molecules of fuel. All in the name of achieving higher fuel injection performance.

                          • The swingarm is made out of three castings only. The rear suspension on the gixxer isnt class leading though. You can see many track riders on the world wide web change the rear suspension of the gixxer to something better. I dont think i will ever be doing that cause I will never be lapping their times
                          • As is the case with the Blade...the gixxer doesnt sport a Hydraulic clutch. Its an integrated clutch lighter than the Hydraulic by 200 gms and has better ease of operation to it.
                          • Again as is the case with the Blade, a Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) servo controlled butterfly valve built into the mid pipe helps maximize torque throughout the RPM range. The huge ass ( to some, ugly ass) pipes u see have considerable gizmos stuck inside them.
                          • To match Hondas Dual stage Fuel Injection Suzuki developed SDTV system which uses two butterfly valves in each throttle body barrel, the primary valve controlled by the rider via the twist grip and the secondary valve controlled by the ECM. More throttle ensures u shove in more fuel in the cylinders to experience what it might feel to ride a diseased mad dog on the streets
                          • Drive modes, gear indictor, shift indictor, stopwatch for laptimes blah blah blah...the list doesnt end for the 2010 gixxer.

You will find me comparing my bike with Honda for two reasons.
                          1. I am an ex 600RR rider.
                          2. I ride TenHuts blade and we plan to do a detailed comparo soon. Whatever is in our capacity.

We have got some nice HD GoPro cam action going on and hope to come up with some nice footage.

I dont care about pune having like 20 million superbikes.
What matters to me and me enjoying the superbikes is the riding responsibilty, maturity and the understanding that comes with riding these bikes. Its no fun riding with posers who dont even know how to sit on a superbike. So many posers have so many basics wrong its not even funny.

Thats not the case in Pune..

Pune does reasonably well as in its got more responsible and good riders than posers. The only city that is exporting racers to national racing championships down in the south to chennai and some of them like Varad More and a bunch of other guys actually kick some ass on the track.

I am not sure why I made this post

when i ride bullet before my bullet was solid condition but i once race with a Ceilo car and my engine size. mechancic say bullet is good bike but no racing. it is good for three people and very powerful.
one day when i become rich i but ducati and then I race with cars. not now.

Pardon me for my ignorance, but is it a tank-mounted one?

I would love to see a tank mounted cam on a banzai liter-class.
