Did anyone think a scooter company could make bikes and one day lose the identity of a scooter company? Did anyone imagine an automobile company churning out SUVs and offroaders to be manufacturing and selling scooters/bikes?

Scooters -> bikes = very much imaginable and possible
SUV/MUV -> bikes = was possible because mahindra bought kinetic.
It was not that they built their own bikes.
