    Congrats!
Its a curious looking bike...What do you call it...street-sports???

I read it is capable of doing 0-100 in sub-3 seconds. Thats faster than the litre-class SBK!!!

Let us know how did you arrive at choosing this bike...Cheers.
    To each his own karma!

      Some more Diavelish pics

Some more pics lads...the last lot were from the Dealer's garage (sadly, the posse of SUV's seen in the background does not belong to me)...this lot is from my house in Mumbai.

What a coincidence...I was in Mumbai yesterday and went past that very showroom (Shreyans Pre-Owned Luxury Cars). I only noticed the black Diavel right next to the glass.

        Small world

          Some more Diavelish pics

Fully kitted out after the bike ride to Khapoli on Sat morning....rained a lot, gave me the opportunity to try out the road handling of the Diavel in the wet.

I must say I was blown away...all in all a 190 km ride, with some ghat sections. The Diavel grips the road like no other bike i have riden (and i have ridden quite a few), the rear tyre feels like velcro on the road, even in the wet...gives superb feedback...I was confidently banking hard at good speeds in the twisties.

I usually ride with 2 other friends who have the 2011 Blades...was able to keep up with them no problem...which is a huge compliment to this cruisers handling....

Next trip maybe tomorrow...will post some more pics then...

          cheers

@RanjithMN: Nope, I am the third from what I have been told by Ducati India...the first one bought the Carbon Red and the bike is in Kolkatta, the second is a standard black like mine and is in Delhi.

Along with my bike, another Standard Black has come through which I am told belongs to R.Madhavan, the bollywood actor. Its probably the one still standing with Shreyans. I guess I was keener than him to take delivery

@rajeshmushtang: Thanks. Not sure about the other bikes, but I do live close to Carter (in Khar West) and come by there once in a while. So if the chap you saw was wearing an Orange Roof Boxer Helmet, it was me, if not it was probably Madhavan, the bollywood actor. Mumbai has only 2 Diavels as of now, both Black

Congrats on a dream come true, vivek!

OT: are you the same vivek soni who had a vmax bout 8yrs ago? iirc it was stolen when your friend took it to the market or so. Something bout people coming in big SUV's etc? Cant recall clearly but it think it was the same incident. Were you successful in tracing the bike?

Congratulations on owning a soon to be, if not already, a legendary bike.

Sorry if I missed this info, but, how long will a new booking take to deliver according to Ducati India now?

                        Cheers.

Thanks Gthang. Not sure what's the booking period now to be honest. I had booked mine in May first week and I got it on Aug 19th, over 3 months later. Best you check with Ducati Sales on that.
