You ferried the MT01 across the Tunga on a Coracle, you have the balls of Thor, and that is why you are a worthy of the Thor!

30k is a LOT in 2 years - and let the next 30 fly by too!

GS, I enjoyed the pictures & captions (save for 13).

            Thanks for sharing

When did the change of location from Bombay to Bangalore happen? I believe there are tons of places in Kerala to discover now. And is your N650R home yet?

GS Loved this lines "As long as there is petrol and there is time, the MT will continue to prowl the roads of India." Something which shows the passion that biking is a major priority not just for show off but it links you as individual enthusiastic person towards your THOR.

Thanks for the wishes everyone. What differentiates us from commuters is that we have bikes on our minds 24x7. I think about bikes when I am taking a dump in the morning, watching the news, spanking the monkey, sitting through a meeting at work, meeting friends, spending time with my family and my fiancee, when I am sleeping and pretty much all the gaps in between.

I don't think there is anyone here on Xbhp who isn't like that. Although some of you might envy me...either for the machine or for the ability to take off on a whim, I want to stress that it has nothing to do with slacking off at work or on responsibilities. The trick is to smartly string these rides together in between moments of "reality". There are many here who manage to do this...Ananth, Praful, Praveen (Xinfii) etc.

About the mileage...I am sure that if any of us had been in a relationship with Jessica Alba or scarlett Johansson we would have also covered significant "mileage" if you know what I mean

It is just lust and love. Everytime I sit on this bike it puts a smile on my face and on the faces of the people who get a glimpse because it is just so ridiculous. It is stupidly over-designed...has a unusually big engine and an over-the-top exhaust note. It is loud, brash and there nothing "restrained" about this bike. Even those who have wet dreams about i4s can't help but fall for this bike. 30,000 Kms is too less a distance to ride with this machine.

Rossiter had to rein me in a few times when I was tempted to sell and switch to a Hayabusa or something...temporary bouts of madness. I will keep this bike with me till the end. Maybe retire it at some point of time, do it up and just mount it on my study wall along with the RD350 and 1962 Bullet 350.

If you are passionate about something and end up falling in love with it...you'll post a thread like this as well

Great writeup GSbhai, especially the above line..

Had seen one of your edited videos, riding your monster along NH3 i guess.. It was a good one, anymore of such videos ??
Just loved Tenhut's/your onboard video on indian roads with your monsters. The way you guys handle the power you have on the very same roads that we all use + managing all the so called posers & RR's (Rossi Replica's).. its great.. Simply Hats off

PS: I know the feeling of riding a naked, especially on 100+.. I can just wonder what a turbulence it would be on 150-200 + on nakeds

i am never going to forget the above line And i love the mt 01's engine. i think i can just go on looking at it the whole day. It looks like there is a factory inside where there are tiny people (like smurphs or gnomes) constantly working to churn out so much torque to the back wheel Beautiful thing.

i am sorry if i have missed it but could you upload the video where thor is crossing the river. This i got to see.

As always, good write-up. Along with lot of petrol, lot of vaseline also was spent I think

Wishing you many more happy kms on the Thor

Nevertheless, an awesome milestone on the torque monster. Wishing you many more great years and happy times with this beast. Loved the way you have posted your experiences.
