Yeah slight hesitation @ start & left the throttle before the end line due to my misjudgement & all thanx to bad demarcation. Day2 endline redbull arc was way better. So all in all disappointed that I didn't hit the 9sec barrier but feels good that no one could better that time.
@atul, buddy thanx for the awesome pic ;-)Last edited by insaneroller; 01-23-2011, 08:38 PM.BMW X5, CIVIC

Congrats, the bike is now truely a monster. This run makes all the time and money spent, worth it. With a cleaner launch you will definetly be in the sub 10 second bracket. Now THAT is saying something about your setup!!!Originally posted by insaneroller View PostYeah slight hesitation @ start & left the throttle before the end line due to my misjudgement & all thanx to bad demarcation. Chill dude, you've got a great time.... as per this link, even seasoned racers seem to take time to cross the sub 10s mark.

Of course, the bike is definitely capable of sub 10s even in stock formLast edited by hifisharu; 01-24-2011, 11:21 AM.

well yeah... alot of scope for improvement... i had practiced that day in the morning only, on the way to the track... so all in all... not bad
Here's the practice run... notice the sound... left the throttle way before endline as i couldnt see it, then again opened the throttle...

Bro no offense... but I guess you should have been more on the safety gear!! With such a beast as you monster Ninja on the drag strip... the more safety gear the better!!Originally posted by insaneroller View Postwell yeah... alot of scope for improvement... i had practiced that day in the morning only, on the way to the track... so all in all... not bad

Respect
Immense respect sir!!! Most of the reviews say you have to have nerves of steel to properly launch this beast, w/o getting the front into the air
So what next?? Extended swing arm to make it a true drag m/c? Would certainly disrupt your weekend rides though
I just love your Monster, and hope to see it in all its mightiness, someday

none taken man... i was wearing inside as otherwise it was getting too uncomfy to wear it on the outside. gear is always important.Originally posted by csajal View PostBro no offense... but I guess you should have been more on the safety gear!! @hifisharu, thanks man. nope she remains the same. on current setup she can do an early 9sec, so just need to practice a day or two before the next event & not practice once or twice en route to the event this time.
@gsferrari, nice one buddy. didnt kw you were there, would have surely met up man.Last edited by insaneroller; 01-24-2011, 04:42 PM.BMW X5, CIVIC

That ZX-14 of yours reminds me of those turbo charged Zx-14 I saw a couple of years back at Wisconsin doing a quarter mile before I could blink my eye.Originally posted by insaneroller View Postnone taken man... i was wearing inside as otherwise it was getting too uncomfy to wear it on the outside. gear is always important.
Truly your bike exudes a spell bounding aura!!
